I still don’t understand why this hasn’t been fixed yet. It’s impacting me because when I exit the garage, it takes over 20 to 30 minutes to adjust. My car believes it’s 15 degrees Celsius at minus 20C, causing everything to fog up. Not cool.
I decided to try a reboot of the car and since yesterday it seemed to have helped because now when I open the app it connects like before within a few seconds.
Ever since 2022.12.3.2 my app as been having issues waking up the car. I have unlock and relock doors to kinda wake it up or else it just keeps on turning with te app never able to connect to the car?
I did not have that problem with the previous update 2022.12.3.1.
I don’t know if it’s a fluke but I did it twice today and it worked so I backed up my car out of the garage put it in park and opened my car door and right after the temperature started going down and the heater kicked in properly.
Since it got pretty cold here during the past few weeks -25C (-13F), I decided to put my MY in the garage and I noticed the same thing that the exterior temperature was not changing and I was getting cold air blowing and at some time my windows were fogging so I had to increase the temperature...
Well, I can say that this update broke my heating I never had any issues so I don't know why I updated. I saw on a lot of people complaining about heating issues in extreme cold in their MY so I figured it must be an important update, but boy was I wrong now my car takes much longer to heat up...
Just call Tesla Roadside Assistance 877-798-3752 I did option 4 then 2 and was fixed within 5 minutes after a few security questions. They send you an email to deactivate MFA. once done I had access and reactivated MFA with the proper precautions this time.
I did notice a change in sound but it's not by much mostly on the voices.
But what I noticed is that it's twice now since the update that I had to "reboot" my car after this update. Once the day after when clicking on the battery icon the toggle from % to km was not changing, my cell signal...
Thanks for the tips but it was more for charging and not necessarily for rate as my rates are the same but I just wanted to start charging overnight. I was more worried about the car not waking up if I set the schedule on the Charger. So I will try setting my Home Flex to start at 1:00 am and I...
I had the same issue after updating to 2021.4.15 and I went into service then wheel configuration and switch to 19 then back to original 20 and the warning is gone.
This is good to know because I was wondering the same thing. The airport is about 30 minutes away and I wanted to know how bad the phantom drain was. In my case I would be leaving it for 14 days or more. So if I arrive with around 90% that should be more than enough. What about in cold weather?
So woke up this morning, pack the stuff in the car ready to bring my daughter to school and boom when I sit in the car it tells me to pullover and check my tire. It indicated the front left tire was deflated. Therefore, I go out and check and it seemed fine I even checked with a gauge. I told...
I've wanted a Tesla for a while but was waiting for a smaller SUV and when the Model Y was released I was pretty excited and wanted one right away, but I have a hard time buying anything new in the first year of release so waited for the second edition to come out to finally pull the trigger...
Wow I was really impressed today with the Model Y. I was going there to choose between LR vs P and I think although the performance was quite fast and fun but for 14k more I think that the LR is just has fun and more sensible. So my choice is Model Y LR with 20" and with the money difference I...
I saw this app on the forum someone used it and taught was a good idea so I just want to share. I have nothing to do with this app just wanted to share. Inspect T on iOS not sure, if they have released anything for Android.
I booked a test drive for wednesday July 29th at the Tesla Montreal location. I'm pretty stoked the only downside is they told me since the demand is high for test drive I only have 20 minutes and it's a "small circuit". I guess we can't go on highways and I need to stay in the small area around...
So to future proof it all what amperage did you put on the nema plug? I know it’s rated at 50 amps but I was thinking of putting 60 amps in case one day I want to switch it to a HPWC. So I would add two 60 amp breaker one for HPWC and other for nema. You think it’s good? Should I go higher?
Perfect I was just curious to see what current Tesla owners would think of this setup so this confirms it. I will install a NEMA 14-50 plug inside and wall charger on the outside (I already had plans to try to put some kinda little roof over to protect it from snow and rain)
Thank you all for...
I know this question had been beaten to death and I know the difference of using nema 14-50 vs wall changer but my question was more if I install both the nema 14-50 inside my garage for use in winter when I put the car in the garage and the wall charger outside for use well when the car is...
