The Orella Acoustics amp is plug and play. No splcing of wires, etc. Take a peak at my install vid of their amp and sub from about a year back or so. With the new sub in the post above, its using this same amp.

I have not. With that being said, Ive been running the Orella sub package with the Hepa King Alpine doors and front dash speakers and my system is spot on. Cant complain at all over here. Bass is perfect for all genres and highs are legit.

No, it doesnt connect to the fan drive. It has its own built in fans. Just plug it into the cig outlet in the center console. Works great! Its still available as well. I have a few so Im selling one. Heres a vid I did of the product install.
