2021 Holiday Firmware Release - Predictions and Impressions (after release)

The stopping mode still has those options, but Hold (which I use) apparently does not keep regen on down to a stop.

2021 Holiday Firmware Release - Predictions and Impressions (after release)

I was startled when I drove it that regeneration stopped at about 10 miles per hour and I had to apply the brake to stop. I checked the controls and the regeneration options are just Low and Standard with no Max. No more one pedal driving.

2021 Holiday Firmware Release - Predictions and Impressions (after release)

So they simplified the controls to make them LESS functional? Ummm... thanks but I want to change driver profiles with one touch, I can't customize the tool bar with the icons Tesla just took away, I don't want the car's current speed behind my right hand while I'm driving, and I want my Max...

Supercharger - Martinez, CA (LIVE Dec 2021, 16 V3 stalls)

There are 11 supercharger pedestals on the north side of the building and 3 are visible on the west side from the construction fence. Presumably there are two more on the west side since there are 4 supercharger cabinets.

Phone unlocks door but key card needed to drive

For the last week or two, our Model 3 has unlocked without a problem as we approach, but it requires us to touch the key card behind the cup holder to drive. This behavior is the same for both phones that are connected to the car, and before the last couple weeks we haven't had this happen in...

TSLA S&P SP Prediction - Conducted Dec-12th weekend

I'm surprised by the bullish feelings about the week of December 21st. It seems pretty clear to me that we are in a speculative bubble right now since the company isn't fundamentally worth more than it was a month ago. I expect the share price to rise some this week, but alot of speculators...

    Supercharger - Olema, CA (LIVE 16 Aug 2023, 6 V2 stalls)

I did a search to see the status of the permitting by downloading from the Marin County database. An application was submitted July 23rd for this site with the description "7 E V Chargers W/Assoc Equip & Transformers; Bollards T.D. 8/11/20"

    Supercharger - Clayton, NM

I checked the New Mexico permit database and TA-DA!!! It is permit PRT_2020015945, approved on June 2nd. The location is 315 South 1st Street, which is the Clayton Ranch Market right on US-87.

    Supercharger - Minnetonka, MN

While your diligence is most appreciated, flags and pavement markings aren't generally considered cone-worthy. When there is construction equipment on site, fencing, Tesla equipment, or something like that the site will get its cone.

    Wiki Supercharger Progress

I have been maintaining this wiki for quite a while, but I have fallen behind since there has been alot of activity and I haven't had much time. If anyone wants this wiki to continue they will have to start updating it. Just be careful to maintain the pattern of the table formatting since it...

Supercharger - Santa Cruz, CA - Soquel Avenue (LIVE 16 Jul 2020, 16 V3 stalls)

Permit B19-0535 says Do L3 charging brands other than superchargers have enclosures? Sometimes people can confuse Tesla superchargers and generic EV chargers, but this seems pretty likely to be superchargers. There should be evidence at the site soon one way or the other.

Supercharger Speculation: Large New One Coming to Central California along 101?

I found the Big Sur supercharger through the Monterey County database, and it does have permits for King City. I have no idea if the database is comprehensive, however, so not finding a permit doesn't necessarily mean .there isn't one.

    Tesla Supercharger network

For reference, here are the 447 superchargers which are theoretically "Coming Soon" to the U.S. and Canada in 2020: Dothan AL, Montgomery AL, Tuscaloosa AL, Anchorage AK, Globe AZ, Kayenta AZ, Phoenix AZ, Arkadelphia AR, Bentonville AR, Blytheville AR, Clarksville AR, Forrest City AR, Fort...

    Tesla Supercharger network

Here is the final update on the status of the North American "Coming Soon" superchargers targeted to open in 2019. About 44 sites opened in the U.S. and Canada (about 27 of which were in Canada) in the last month for a total of 190 in 2019 or 38% of sites that were "Coming Soon" depending on how...

    Supercharger - Santa Barbara, CA (LIVE 4 Oct 2021, 16 V3 stalls)

The address on the permit is 3943 State Street, which is the Smart & Final and the general address for the 5 Points Shopping Center. The pin is on the Smart & Final store location, but presumably they will be putting the supercharger in the parking lot next to the store instead of within the...

    Tesla Supercharger network

If you add in the 180 unopened sites in the main list (though many are not "Coming Soon" on the Tesla Find Us map) and the 319 Coming Soon sites for which no information has been found, they will have opened about 1/4 of the planned ones by the end of the year.

    Supercharger - Williams, CA - 6th Street (LIVE 18 Dec 2019, 12 V3 stalls)

The pedestals haven't been numbered yet, so it looks like Tesla still needs to test the station before it will be operational. It looks like that is the only step left though.

    New Oregon Superchargers (2018)

I searched through the Oregon permit database for Commercial Electric permits in Burns dated June 1 or later which have not been finalized and found... a bunch of stock watering pumps and a remodel at Safeway. A search of One Call since June 1 produced more nothing. Google search within...

    Supercharger - Helena, MT

The MT permitting portal definitely isn't great for searching, but I didn't find it looking for the address or even just for projects with a cost high enough to be superchargers. This site is apparently just outside of Helena city limits, so it might require a (thus far equally unfruitful)...

Supercharger - Walnut Creek, CA (LIVE 24 Oct 2019, 24 urban stalls)

The Walnut Creek supercharger is not in an area affected by the PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoff program. The outage there yesterday was a normal type of unintentional outage caused by wind and/or the "Local" fire knocking out power to a section of Walnut Creek.

Supercharger - Walnut Creek, CA (LIVE 24 Oct 2019, 24 urban stalls)

They have the area cordoned off with yellow tape now, presumably to keep people out so they can test at each stall.

Supercharger - Emeryville, CA - Powell Street Plaza (LIVE 28 Mar 2020, 12 V3 stalls)

    Supercharger - Minnetonka, MN

It seems like this is most likely Electrify America since Tesla is building a supercharger in St. Louis Park. It's worth keeping an eye on though.

Supercharger - Walnut Creek, CA (LIVE 24 Oct 2019, 24 urban stalls)

I've been watching out for the Walnut Creek supercharger for a while but I'd never been in that garage and the Walnut Creek permit search basically requires you to know where to look. For what it's worth the permit number is B190051 but doesn't have any additional information.

Supercharger - Walnut Creek, CA (LIVE 24 Oct 2019, 24 urban stalls)

Here is your complete scouting report! As JPP indicated, this an excellent location with free parking, and oodles of nearby shops and restaurants. It is quite appropriate to have "urban" style here to serve the multitude of apartment dwellers in Walnut Creek, but it also has relatively good...

    Supercharger - Mackinaw City, MI

Supercharger - Brentwood / Nashville, TN (Old Hickory Blvd)

Tesla went to the Nashville Board of Zoning Appeals on September 5, 2019 requesting a variance to the parking requirements to install a charging station in the parking lot of the Target at 780 Old Hickory Blvd. If you go to the BZA tracker map, it has details: The BZA action was "Granted".

Supercharger - Emeryville, CA - Powell Street Plaza (LIVE 28 Mar 2020, 12 V3 stalls)

Tesla was on the agenda of the August 15, 2019 meeting of the Howell Township Planning Board: Although the site is in Howell Township, the address is 909 NJ-33, Freehold NJ 07728, only a few miles from the Tinton Falls supercharger.
