2019 Model 3 Performance 30k miles, FSD in SC

I don't think it was undervalued but teslas go fast and reasonably priced and we had both a range increase and and FSD increase in a week. I do not think waiting would have gotten you more money.
  2. M

    2018 Performance Model 3 Stealth w/ FSD

I bought at less miles with FSD for way less. Low ball the S hit out of op. like 45k or less.

2019 Model 3 Performance 30k miles, FSD in SC

    did you get 49K btw?

2019 Model 3 Performance White on White only 12k Miles

48K selling price betting on it

    FS 2017 Model S 75D - FSD and FUSC - 39k miles - $52,500 OBO

Tesla lowered the price greatly on the model s so this likely dropped like a rock in value.

2018 Model 3 LR: What is a good asking price?

Similar miles FSD perfomance - was not much more but no extras.

2018 Model 3 AWD for sale. Fully loaded

To clarify the car itself is at 37k miles?

2019 Model 3 Performance White on White only 12k Miles

I believe another user sold a similar car for 49k a few weeks ago if anyone wanted a ballpark.
  10. M

2018 Model 3 LR: What is a good asking price?

When looking into buying a model 3 it was a better deal for me to look at performance cars with FSD because they took a larger depreciation hit from new. It seems like you lose less on the cheaper model 3s or at least people list them that way. The wildcard is what the refresh/ FSD increase is...

    Snippiness 2.0

I don't know wtf is up the the market but apparently the model 3 is a weird situation where people pay stupid prices for the lowest priced used cars. Lmao assuming a lux car is a salvage a year later at a high price because the sellers are that much assholes.
  12. M

2018 Tesla Model 3 Performance with Full Self Driving 9K Miles

You may have "no rush to sell" but unfortunately tesla updates cars without warning and doesn't really factor your sale in.

General chit-chat in "For Sale" threads

I missed the edit but I meant to say @Ostrichsak would have called me crazy and accused me of trying to crap on the price of a sale post because I wanted to buy a car for cheap that I was too poor to afford. Well guess what buddy I own a P3D- with FSD at a sale price you would bitch and moan...

General chit-chat in "For Sale" threads

@cucubits can be a bit out of line per the rules but @Ostrichsak always gets overly defensive comes off as a know it all jerk. He would have called me I feel like no one would get mad about someone pointing out that a used car salesmen at a dealer was trying to rip someone off for 15k above...

Thinking about selling my Tesla Model 3 Performance

Sounds pretty fair. Good luck with your next car
  16. M

    2018 Performance Model 3 Stealth w/ FSD

I think if you locked in the trade offer before the refresh was announced you may end up having to trade it in. It's pretty hard get a sale done within days though you may want to just post a bottom ask price that would be worth it now before giving it to the dealer.
  17. M

Thinking about selling my Tesla Model 3 Performance

Considering the low miles I would figure maybe you can get 47-50k after negotiations. I believe carvana is going to be low 40s.
  18. M

Tesla Model 3 Long Range Dual Motor FSD

Tesla's historically depreciate in waves as the models get updated. You will find one as the new updates affect the rest of the market. The only wildcard is how good FSD gets and if it changes the used prices.

WTB: Model 3 performance with white interior - midwest

I think people buying the base color are less likely to do other upgrades. Prob accounts for the rarity. two rides

2018 P100D Ludicrous with FSD, 13.8k Miles, MCU 2, with pics!

Did Tesla force you to buy your model 3 at the price you paid?
  21. M

    2020 Model Y Performance (PUP w/ Uberturbines) - 7,000 Miles

The shipping time is not high enough. When you are spending that much money for or five weeks is not a big deal, most of the buyers of a car at this price are not desperate to buy.
  22. M

    VW ID.6 (2021)

A lot of current Tesla owners like me used to drive a Prius, but I think the Prius was actually more boring than offensively ugly like this is,
  23. M

With final specs revealed anyone putting a deposit on a Lucid?

My biggest thing about lucid is that I can't trust their software technology. Yes the range and performance is impressive but if Tesla is gathering data from all their cars and way ahead on full self-driving it might be just a company I wouldn't be interested in buying from versus Tesla. But...

General chit-chat in "For Sale" threads

I commented on that off your post in here August 28th. Asking price does often not equal selling price. But I know you'll be there to defend me when I list my car for too much money in the future. Those are the rules.

Sold 2016 Model S 90D in AZ still under bumper to bumper warranty, 91k miles, $39k

Unless tesla screws up the transfer do you get it but it seems they flagged every model 3 with unlimited supercharging that transfers and make it take days to get rid of it
  26. M

For Sale 2018 M3 LR RWD

I believe California is like the six or seven the world's largest economy alone. Listing there is most definitely going to get you even more depreciation with the tax credit core cost to ship it to another state.
  27. M

General chit-chat in "For Sale" threads

Excuse me how many I'm pretty sure none is the answer besides this? I would agree the value on resale for Tesla's is pretty high. But there is a very clear point at which the value actually being that high means that it is a better value to buy new and not used. That would be in that many...

General chit-chat in "For Sale" threads

Cool man I get it it's just that sometimes my mind is blown like who the hell is paying this much for these used cars I want to know what their actual rationale is.
  29. M

General chit-chat in "For Sale" threads

You are essentially making the claim that these depreciate so little that someone would be an idiot for not just buying one new.
  30. M

    2018 Model 3 LR RWD

You know I read through that another 5 times and now I'm confused again but it seems you may be right. I know there are cars like the one I bought that were made after that date with unlimited connectivity but Tesla only seems to imply that it transfers not explicitly states so.
  31. M

    2018 Model 3 LR RWD

I don't believe premium connectivity transfers to new owners on used sales anymore. Says on Tesla's website that the cutoff date was January 8th 2020.

General chit-chat in "For Sale" threads

maybe that's true for now but the layoffs are going to start hitting higher earners soon. Most companies are re-evaluating their budgets right now and looking at how much they can cut. But anyways my point is that there it's a significant portion of Tesla buyers who may be college educated and...

General chit-chat in "For Sale" threads

Eh a bunch of the high prices and auction relistings I am seeing are from dealers. Generally it's a poor idea if you actually eventually do want to upgrade to leave your car on the market for too long and have extra depreciation on it. A lot of the owners who wanted a y I have been waiting years...
  36. M

General chit-chat in "For Sale" threads

Maybe it's just me but I feel like I'm seeing a pretty large gap between what people are asking for their model 3s and what people are actually offering right now. I'm seeing a bunch of cars that sit at the same high price and get relisted a number of times. I won a bid for a low mileage white...

I've loved Tesla for 7 years. But after years of abuse, I'm out

There seems to be very much a price floor to get into any Tesla that doesn't decrease very much very fast. At some point when the price gets low enough people will probably just buy old Tesla's to take the batteries right out and never use the car. It is my experience in looking for a model 3 so...

    Terrible Service Experience Springfield NJ

Seriously just because it's a Tesla fan forum doesn't mean it has to be a pro Tesla safe space. Any car should absolutely be built to handle reasonable sized puddles since they are one of the normal things that cars will encounter. I would expect that most people who post on here take pretty...

    FS 2019 Model 3 Performance Stealth $48k

I definitely wouldn't call this a smoking deal. I have seen the regular performance models for as much or less. It would be cheaper to buy one of those and sell the brakes and wheels. That being said I'm sure this will sell fairly easily.
  40. M

    Terrible Service Experience Springfield NJ

I've never heard of somebody I know running over a small puddle and getting their bumper ripped off. Covered under warranty or not that's shitty build.

    2020 Tesla Model 3 Performance

I do pretty okay for myself and still can't ever even imagine not knowing the answers to those questions when that much money is involved. I can't even type out accurate thoughts because it blows my mind so much.
  42. M

    2020 Tesla Model 3 Performance

Do you get to claim the tax credit for the car if you sell it right away or are you eligible to still claim a credit for a model y in California? Otherwise it sure would suck to buy a car and immediately no it's not for you good luck.

From Tesla: New showroom 2018 AWD M3 $6900 Price Adjustment, Red on Black, Fremont

Yeah if they're selling it with full self-drive you can probably get a 2019 under 10k miles for less money used.
  44. M

General chit-chat in "For Sale" threads

That would be an indication prices could be even lower if those buyers didn't come through. Some prices people are asking just make no sense because if their cars were actually worth that much it would be stupid for someone not to buy new. It's not like model 3s are sold out for 6 months. I see...

    2020 Model 3 Stealth Performance Edition - 12k Miles - HW3 - FSD Included - 56K OBO

It seems so far that full self-driving on secondary sales just doesn't mean as much as the car itself especially since the price has gone up. Also I have seen plenty of used non stealth performance model threes near this mileage for around the same price. As a buyer I would rather buy one of...

    2020 Model 3 Stealth Performance Edition - 12k Miles - HW3 - FSD Included - 56K OBO

Yea hard to imagine someone wouldn't love to pay what the dealer paid if it was much lower. I'm in the market for one like yours, but certainly not at this ask price. Non stealth perf with fsd the best deal I have seen was somewhere around 50k so that is a baseline since I don't care about...
