I've just done it and you can definitely delay, when you click through you can change the date, I've set my start date as mid-Nov.

funny enough I was in Chelmsford on Weds for some work (rear light not fixed correctly, condensation and I had a sensor hanging out of the bodywork by the front wheel!). I assume this must be a brand new SC, they were still wondering around fitting teh signs to the walls when I was there! But...

anyone else have this issue? I have Radio X on Tune In...works fine on phone, sonos etc etc...however in the Tesla click on Radio X and it just sits there...no spinning wheel no nothing...other Tune In stations seem to work ok.

I am just about to get my wheels painted, dechrome done and I've just had my rears tinted. I am with Churchill and they confirmed on chat tonight that wheels are covered as standard, tints do not need to be declared as long as your above 25 and have had a license for over 5 years. Thought that...

One thing I found today I didn’t know about was if you the rear camera on, then swipe up it shows the view from the wing cameras...much more useful for seeing kerbs than just the rear camera

Centre console cover done today, rears tinted yesterday....next week looking to have alloys painted and book in for a dechrome!

So what's the deal when you visit a SC? I am booked in to get my boot sorted (misaligned), but it's not clear it I have to sit and wait for however long they take to fix it or if they just keep it if they provide a courtesy car so I can get on with my day? I won't be able to leave the car...

Thanks will check it out...I've had it before on other cars and often the easiest way is to put a little black felt on the hard surfaces for a simple fix.

Collected today, largely painless experience and no real problems that I could find (some tape marks on the front that cleaned off). I have noticed a bit of a rattle from somewhere in the passenger side but haven't had a chance to investigate yet. Great car, really pleased! :D

Where are you collecting? Picking mine up in Dartford tomorrow! Having a mild disaster though, my wife was supposed to be bringing me down but she's managed to kill her car so I am now using the train..instead of a 40 min drive it's now over 2 hours on public transport to get there and a 6.30...

You can always call your bank...mine had a limit too but there isn't a limit if you call and get them to do the transfer for you...worth checking that if time gets tight

You can go onto your account on the website, when you click "manage" then you can see 2 tabs at the top just below where it says overview and the pic of your car. click on the tab that says "Completed tasks" and it shows you the remaining balance, so if you've transferred the cash and they have...

I think the only way to resolve it is ask the lease company what proof they can provide that shows this was ordered with Tesla. They must have something in writing if what they say is true.

Yep I have a quote but since I am so close to pick up I've already missed the 20 day thing so rather than 2 calls (1 with the VIN and 1 with the final reg) I'll just sort it when I get the reg...less time I have to spend on hold to insurance companies the better IMO ;)

Well my invoice arrived this afternoon after chasing them...no reg yet though so I can't get insurance sorted. Will bother them on that in a day or so! Yep have had my VIN for about a month or so now (for those asking)

Picking up next wednesday, still no final invoice or reg number...how close to delivery/collection do Tesla start letting people know?

Whats the state of charge when you collect? Are they charged up to a pretty high level or largely empty? If they are empty is there somewhere to charge fairly close to Dartford?

from the few youtube vids I've looked at you can fit a bike pretty comfortably in the back with the seats down....if there are only 2 of you it could be a solution without impacting your range

I had same experience and similar costs with the Rolec....so I went PodPoint which came in a fair bit cheaper direct from them

I assumed that too, so when I was looking for prices I went to a local authorized PodPoint installer, they wanted over double the cost of going to PodPoint directly.

Agreed, this was what I was expecting and planned to go with the Rolec....but the quotes were different enough it was worth just going with the Podpoint.

I shopped around a little and looked at EO, Podpoint and Rolec. Podpoint came out cheapest at £550 (direct from them, from a local agent it was about £400 more), Rolec was about £200 more and the Eo one came in about £300 more

I am ordering through PoPoint, they now won't do an install until they have something with a specific date from Tesla with an estimated delivery. Just the month isn't good enough apparently.

I've only been waiting 3 weeks, I can't imagine the levels of frustration those folks who ordered earlier in 2020 or even 2019 are feeling!

It's exciting that folks are getting their confirmation of pickups!....but also massively disappointing that my phone hasn't binged o_O

These look pretty interesting....I assume you can't open the boot once you mount the bike? I would be pretty confident that they are secure but the downside of having to remove your front wheel and keep that in the car....which you'll always remember is propped up against the wall just after...
