yes I used the old insulation, as others describe it seems to be made with better quality.

Blue tape over the area to be drilled, put wet paint on the tip of the positioning pins. Position the hepa filter over the mounting holes (where you will install the rivet nut using a couple of screw drivers. Measure 2 checking Its centered. Hopefully this helps

Installed rivet nuts and completed the retrofit. M5 rivet nuts will fit without any additional drilling, no alignment issues. A M5x35 or 40mm is enough and some washers as stated before.

Negative, asked SC and mobile service they won't do it because it's not a feature in the car. They might once the have retrofit options and charge ~$500

I have been running the upgraded filter box over the past days without rivet nuts (kit is incoming) and there is enough pressure from the alignment pins and the holes I made to keep it in place no rattles or issues so far.

Correct the existing holes is for the rivets just need to drill a couple or holes for the alignment pins on the filter box.

Drilled mounting points after aligning and it all sits flush, I need to get some rivet nuts to complete the install since there is a thick structural plate under that attachment hole where the plant installed nut should go. A little cumbersome but we'll worth it!

Definitely check. It's not impossible to mount it's just extra effort I have the holes for the botls without the welded nut or the guide points above it. I'll be checking the wheel well for space to connect a bolt and call it a day

So I just installed the retrofit on my 2020 MY and there are no guide wholes or attachment points for the two M6 bolts for the HEPA filter box to the wheel well mount location. I will engineer some attachment points to make it secure

The bioweapon defense mode from my limited research is function is recirculating air at max blast. Will ask SC once installed

Interesting idea. However Plastidip white will look completely off from Pearl white. Regular paint will not correctly attach to the plastic because of the flex. Try one small section with Plastidip and share your results. Happy modding

I did the same. Make sure to prep the area well. And put some tight painters tape on the corners the OEM spoiler tends to pop off due to tension. Make sure the adhesive is fully cured before removing the tape.
