It’s hard to tell how difficult this will be without seeing the sill and front door. I would ask them to send it to a body shop for the repair. Do not allow them to do it at the SC.

Pictures would be nice, but from the sounds of it just should simply reject. As for the blacklist, Tesla repurchased my first MYLR and I rejected 2 after that. If they have a blacklist I’m not sure what it takes to get on it.

Ended up adjusting the doors myself and I’m petty happy with the result. Alignment issues tend to cascade to adjacent panels so I had to adjust both doors and the front fender. Tesla.

Getting this right takes a lot of trial and error, at least in my experience. You’re better off making your own out of 3/4” PVC end caps, in my opinion.

My 2023 MYP exhibits significant brake pedal vibration when braking at low speeds. Has anyone experienced this? It’s intermittent and feels a bit like the ABS system activating.

My new 23 MYP exhibited buffeting and booming. 90% resolved with the vinyl tube trick! If you’re experiencing ear pressure or fatigue, I recommend installing the vinyl tubing into your hatch gasket. Makes a huge difference.

I don’t recall. I do know that my car was not resold. I suspect that Tesla may have destroyed it, because I checked the Carfax a year later and it had no activity beyond the buyback.

I don’t use one, honestly. I have a lot of experience with bad Teslas and just kind of know what to look for at this point.

Tesla also re-purchased my first Model Y back from me. My issues were different from yours but the lies were not. I’m really sorry you had to deal with this, I know it all too well and it sucks. As for the payment, they handed me a check when I turned in the car.

My recommendation would be the clay bar that off and ignore the chip. There’s a 50% chance whatever they do to attempt to fix it will simply make it worse.

I was concerned about this too. I added a tow bar to my config after releasing the hold, then waited for an inventory car to show up and scooped it up.

No, it has nothing to do with how the glass roof is sealed. It's purely cosmetic. I don't like the way it looks but it also doesn't bother me excessively.

This is the sagging headliner. A picture of where the headliner meets the glass roof in-between the driver and rear passenger. This is a nit imo. I would never reject a car for this reason alone, still, I was little surprised it hasn't been addressed in the last 3 years.
