I have experienced the same thing. Before .113, I found that the trip forecast was way optimistic and I NEVER came in ahead, no matter how conservative I drove. Now it seems to be much closer and if I drive conservatively, I can definitely beat it's forecast.

I'm less optimistic than you, but I do hope you are right. I'm guessing that my driving style will get to 370 Wh/m and the biggest win will be on the freeway dropping it to 325 Wh/m. Both both numbers are total wild guesses.

I had this issue with my first Model-S. It went away within the first few hundred miles.

Yeah, I had odd wind noise problems with my first model-S. Tesla was able to fix all of them over time. With my new P85D, the wind noise has been minimal and I've had no issues. So whatever you're running into, I'm sure it is repairable.

Effective range after a full charge with normal driving on flat surfaces is 185 miles +/- 15 depending on how you drive. This works out to 390 or so Wh/m You our may have a challenge getting home so I would make sure you have a full charge first.
