Not quite so black and white when it comes to the insurance companies. We had ours hit in a supermarket car park, reg is on full display. It sounds like your phones push notification identifier is still registered somewhere, you could try deleting and re-installing the app, that should force it to generate a new identifier for you, that should stop the notifications from it.

I took my retention certificate with me when I picked up the car, the service centre (Stockport) were more than happy to make me up some plates for my private reg, they did it free of charge too 😁

The electric is also made on the same line. Just as with the VW Golf, GTE/e-golf are made on the same line as fossil powered vehicles.

You are right! I did mine upon arrival and nothing came off of the bodywork at all!

I would recommend the AutoGlym, very easy product to work with! The Mrs's car needs protecting, so I think I will try Caramics on hers as a comparison!

I ended up using AutoGlym HD ceramic on the paintwork, very easy to apply and remove. It is very hard to get it wrong, so if it over cures then it is easy to remove. I did use AutoFinesse Caramics for the glass, easy to apply with the wipes, and has some crazy beading!

I had a Megane GT before the Tesla, and tbh, I don’t miss it at all. I don’t miss the engine noise either! The way the Tesla accelerates is addictive, and never gets old. For a heavy car it still handles well through the corners. I don’t think you will regret it!

4 digits can be brute forced, as the car doesn’t restrict you if you put in the pin wrong too many times: I get the above won’t be done by an opportunist thief but the longer the pin the better.

I picked up my car last Friday, so of course my first couple of days was spent cleaning and protecting it! I tried out a couple of products new to me, AutoGlym UHD Ceramic Coating and Auto Finesse Caramics Glass. I know both of them aren't true ceramic coatings like gtechniq, but I don't...

Picked up this morning, car had a slight issue with the rear bumper, but straight out with the tools and fixed it. Alignments all good, now time for me to clean and coat the car. Very happy! Carly dealt with me today at Stockport, she was ace!

With some of the negative posts being posted, I thought I would share my friends positive experience. Everything spot on with the pick up (Stockport) and the car is now in for it's ceramic coatings. No paint defects and panel alignment is good.

Just leave the aero wheel covers on, they might think they are steel wheels and leave them alone :)
