    No I haven’t tried that but certainly will try that next. However I’d have thought that Tesla checked the logs for signs of the charging being commanded to start via the API. The two apps I have using the API is TeslaMate and Watch App for Tesla. Worth a go though. Thanks.

    There is no button on the handle of the blue Type 2 cable supplied with the car. It does have one on the UMC cable though but this isn’t for use with untethered charge points.

    Yes same thing has happened to me a few times whilst charging on a Pod-Point at Tesco. Had to use app to stop charging and unlock the charge port. Option was either greyed out on screen or command ignored.

    Yes possibly but the schedule is set in the car and not on the charger itself as Pod-Point currently has no capability to do this itself. I might try disabling the schedule tomorrow to see if that makes a difference. I guess it might be trying to keep it topped up all day though.
