    Blank Screen - Model 3

Moderator comment - thread merged Hi I have a refreshed 2021 Model 3 LR which has covered around 600 miles since taking delivery in December. Due to working from home etc, the car isn't getting used every day. One day last week, as I got in the car, the screen came on but as soon as I pulled...

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

Had a delivery text today for 9th which is now being delivered to home rather than Edinburgh on the same date which is a huge bonus

    2020 Q4 'M' delivery club

DaveyP - jealous just a bit - hope you love it when it arrives have you had to pay anything extra for home delivery, only asking as my collection is booked for a centre 100+ miles from home which has now got Scottish travel restrictions in place so I don't even know if my date is possible

Model 3 isofix, do you use inserts, or just squeeze between the cushions

if you're brave enough to have white interior with kids, you're brave enough to use the isofix points through the seats. still waiting on my M3 so can't comment on this car but generally have never had a problem fixing them that way. Had VWs and their fixing points are the easiest I've come across

Collecting from Edinburgh apparently (live near Carlisle). Just noticed that the Centre closes at 4pm (not sure if that's restricted Covid hours) and I'm supposed to be collecting at 4pm..... not sure how I'm going to manage it to be honest, Mrs won't be able to take me as she'll need to get...

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

never really liked Mondays anyways.... ordered the car on 4th August, Lex didn't place the order until 7th October and I had hoped that it was onboard the Antwerp but now been told that delivery isn't until 9th December at 4pm (in the dark!) 102 miles from home

Model 3 as a company car

posted on another topic about BIK and Employer's NIC - an important saving for you on a car with no BIK. I assume your 330e is older and less efficient than the latest 330e (i.e. higher co2)- are you having to compare your current car with the Tesla or a new model 330e? remember about VAT...

    UK Company Car

BIK is relevant - there will be a BIK on the BMW which your Employer will pay 13.8% Class 1A NICs on as well as on Fuel So if the BMW costs 40K @ 7% BIK @ 13.8% that's 400 saving to the Company, similar calc on the fuel, maybe another 200

Model 3 as a company car

who are you trying to financially justify it for - you or your Employer? If it's for your Employer, play hard on them reducing their carbon footprint by having zero emissions vehicles on their fleet. The 330e is low emissions but not zero!

Model 3 as a company car

Is it not easier to put the fuel in the car yourself and then charge your Employer for the Business miles done?

Leasing Model 3 via Salary sacrifice

There's a fairly recent thread on this where people have shared their Salary Reduction and effective net monthly cost. It appeared that most had a complete package including insurance, home charger, full maintenance - it may be that you can do some/all of this cheaper yourself. There are a few...

    Model 3 Leasing UK

ordered a few cars for work through G2L with no issue - that said, I did message them about my Tesla and I never heard back from them, needless to say, they didn't get that order. always worth having a look on Leasing.com, can tailor the criteria down to model, mileage, deposit, term, etc (make...

    2020 Shipping Movements

Mr M, loving this post, thanks for all of the info Quick question, is there a reason why the ships don't unload at Southampton first and then go on to Zeebrugge?

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

Fair play I ordered a Seat Leon Cupra for the Mrs - we were told that it was built and sat at the port for shipping - 2 weeks later, we were told that there had been a fire at the factory that made the digital cockpits and that they now couldn't honour my order.......

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

Ordered my car (Lease) early August, got hold a copy of my leasing company's order with Tesla dated 10th October - just spoke with Tesla and have been told that the ship is due in to the UK 2nd week of November with the vehicle available for collection 7-10 days after that. Didn't get a Vin...

    Model 3 Leasing UK

I'm keen to hear the answer to this one too. I have a LR on order via a Lease - I have a Tesla Account and there is an option to add a payment method but I don't know how the Account will change once I've actually received the car. Fortunately, there's a year free but I don't hold out much hope...

    Model 3 Leasing UK

I ordered mine on 4th August but I did say that ideally I wasn't looking to take delivery until November. I haven't seen a Reservation Number yet neither (but haven't asked for one), will see what I can find out and let you know.

    Model 3 Leasing UK

VIN Numbers seem to be the hot topic at the moment to determine the likelihood of you getting a 2020 or 2021 car I had my e-mail from Tesla asking me to reset my password on 7th October (for access to the Tesla Account) - Finance Docs came through from Lex the same day which have now been...

Sorry for asking a really dumb question here but I'll ask it anyway - if you delay, are you saying Tesla give your car to someone else? Presumably by doing this Tesla run the risk of having unwanted 'old' stock when everyone wants the refreshed model?

    M3 Refresh

yeah, not holding out much hope to be fair whilst some of the changes would be nice, it's not revolutionary changes and I'd decided to lease with the car as it is

    M3 Refresh

Had a little bit of progress on my order (lease) this week, Tesla account now activated and finance paperwork signed - delivery date of 'towards the end of November' seems to tie up with the shipping dates thread. Quite like the sound of the chrome delete and the matt centre console - be nice...

    "70" reg crew

Think you've found your problem there, Tesla will be looking to charge the new price and nobody (WEVEE / Leaseplan) will pay the difference of however much the price went up. I ordered a Lease Car back around this time last year (not a Tesla), I was told it was built, I was then told that there...

UK accessories for RHD Model 3 [megathread]

Sorry for appearing slightly thick but if you get a new fancy M3 with the USB-C and Wireless charging, what do you need the hub for? I was considering getting a hub so that I could connect the wireless charger to it and still have space for a memory stick for the dashcam but as it now appears...

UK accessories for RHD Model 3 [megathread]

I've been reading through the forums, watching youtube as appears to be the norm for soon to be Tesla owners and there seems to be a myriad of recommended upgrades. I like the idea of the Taptes wireless charging hub and it then made sense to get the Taptes USB hub to be able to plug in the...

    The Model 3 - 2020 Q3 Order Thread

Order my M3 LR earlier this week - pretty excited as it'll be a little different from my Clio runaround that I've had the last couple of years!! I've done mine through a Leasing Company and previously, all leased cars have been delivered to home / work or to the Lease Company's offices (which...
