In the winter with my heat pumps I probably use 60 to 100, especially now that I have an EV. My lowest solar production has been about 8kwh. So, NO WAY would batteries EVER make sense to say they could power my house.

What did you assume for fixing the stuff when breaks?

Yep, which is why I have 30kw of solar, 90 panels! I can be off grid 100% for like 6 months of the year with my 7 batteries. BUT, still no ROI for any of this. I will not either live long enough, or be in this house to ever recover BUT is sure is nice to heat and cool my house with my heat...

IMO, and I have 7 batteries, I tell folks batteries have NO ROI. If you have money to burn, go for it, but they are not zero issues.

7.1.2 fixed the ability to put the IP in. BUT, since I have 2 gateways, it is a pain to have to reenter the IP and password when I change GW's

I tried the android app, but sure do not see how it works correctly. I do not see option to select either of my gateways. I see nothing for how to check battery stuff?

Trying to get energy site to work. I am logged into my computer to both of my gateways, meaning I know the IP, and I use the password for each GW, and I can see them both. If I put this info into your app, I Get unable to connect, double check IP and password?

For me, who cares about all the this stuff. I just use it now!!!!!! One can truly over think this, which is why I tell works putting this stuff in place is not a zero effort thing for some folks

72 upstairs, 68 downstairs. Large upstairs, high ceilings, lots of windows. EV sucks the suds also when I have basically no Solar generation this time of the year.

From what I researched, the Generator cannot do this. One ATS much be the master, and the other the slave. So, if the slave runs out of batteries, I have to turn of the PW;s on the master, of the generator does not kick in, which powers my logically 2 homes.

Yep, a lot of my 90 panels are not at a great angle!! Many are north. The best I get is 185kwh in a day, so I can produce lots.

Just cannot believe the folks who think all this stuff makes an EV something people should want to buy. Just nuts. Now let me hassle trying to find a place to charge, and waste me time. My ICE cars keep sounding better all the time. :) And I get 100% free charging at home. :)

I have a 22kw generator on a 500 gallon tank. I have 4 heat pump compressors on 10 minisplit heads. I do not run them all, but still, they use 50 to 70kw per day just for these! And if I add the EV car in, etc. Today my 30kw solar made only 4kwh. So folks that do not have heat pumps had NO...

Best part of too much solar is never having to think about this. Without enough solar, PW's mean very little

One PW is not enough do backup much, for very long, so if something is less than a PW, why use. Just buy a small cheap generator
