The unlock/lock trick works only within bluetooth range, yes. The two-button reboot or "turn off" function have not helped for me, or at least not once I tried it a day later. Interesting to know that is basically normal behavior. That's really disappointing.

Ordered a black/black M3 LR AWD August 4th but haven't received a VIN yet... i'm getting nervous that it's going to be one of those deliveries that will be delayed beyond the original estimate.

Hi everyone, I'm also new here. Ordered my Model 3 LR AWD on August 4th and got the same 4-7 week delivery note. I also got the 2.15% financing rate with 72 months. I guess we will find out end of the month or early September if that changes.
