My Model Y is not showing the same symptoms as my Model 3. Y sat all day in 30F same time and no snow flake while the 3 had the snowflake. Something is definitely up.

I have noticed the same. Definitely not warming up battery since the holiday update. Maybe they figured out it’s not needed in most cases unless it is really really cold.

Works on my MY LR now after 2021.4.18.10 been 2 days and it’s working like my M3P. Plus all the other features are great to have back as well.

My M3P with radar is on .2 and sentry works just fine. The MY LR with no radar is on .3 and sentry is still broken since day one.

That’s what they did with mine, virtual diagnostic I think is what they called it.

So I don’t think it’s actually fixed with this update. It worked for one day, but I haven’t been able to trigger it since. 😩

I can confirm just got 2021.4.18.3 and sentry finally works!! Tried it multiple times to make sure it wasn’t a fluke.

It hasn’t made it to my model Y yet!!!

Thanks! Yeah my service center had me format the drive and do a scroll wheel reset which I have done multiple times and of course didn’t work. Waiting to see what they want me to do next

Anyone had luck with this? My new Model Y is not recording sentry events either. Delivered 5/28 no radar. My M3P has no issues so I know something is up with the Y

I thought all May deliveries did not have it as we all had to accept that clause about the change to vision no?

The car won’t show up until you accept delivery and since you already have a M3 it won’t show the welcome to the Tesla family with the avatar of your ordered car since your app is active.

She’s home guys! Meet Sapphire! Perfect build too no bad gaps or misaligned panels. Did not have the rear door PPF or mud flaps but that’s ok since I have those ready to go. Already set appointment for mobile service to install the garage door opener. Kinda makes my M3P look tiny 😂

No not against anything but to request free FSD when the functionality has not changed is crazy. Pure Vision will be better. So in reality you’re moving forward faster.

First like you said it’s temporary and it’s not like the features won’t be activated again. And second unless you got FSD you’re not losing any features besides the lane departure warning. It’s silly to request this.

Let your SA know that you are doing financing thru your bank, they will switch it to finance and then you pick self financing, they then ask for the lender info and how much your check is that you are getting from your bank, any difference you can just pay Tesla directly as an ACH

Definitely doing both. Already have an appointment set for next week. The wife didn’t need a Performance but I love my M3P and when we go somewhere and do drive the Y I want to be able to get as close as I can to the feeling and performance of my M3P.

Safety rating has nothing to do with the radar also I really don’t think it’s a supply issue look at this tweet from Elon back in 2018, it’s been in the works for years. Doubt it’s a chip shortage issue

No they wanted me to pick up in Devon PA but I didn’t really like them when I picked up my M3P so I changed it to Springfield NJ because they are great there!

Autopilot is still standard on all Tesla vehicles so I am sure that still functions as normal, you would think.

I don't think they are going to discount FSD because of this though since technically it still will be available.

Yeah seen this before it was then said that they use it to compare the vision on Autopilot to see how accurate it was.

I think you are confusing radar with the parking sensors, those will still stay but the radar out front that was used for Autopilot is what they're removing for pure vision.

Haven't seen anyone report anything from Springfield wish we could get pics! My SA also told me by this week I should start hearing something about VIN, I just wonder if poor Sapphire is just sitting outside all this time :(
