After I had full front wrap PPF installed, I asked my installer to give me some Xpel scraps which were enough to put some on these door flares as I saw a bunch of dirt accumulating on them. Definitely a good idea to have PPF installed!

I’m still waiting on my other 2 to come, received 2 wheels so far. Had to order with wheel and TPMS sensors from TireRack. Happy to hear they’re comfortable as I wasn’t looking forward to trying out 21 Uberturbines in the snow ❄️

I have it as well and it's pretty normal as 3Dmaxpider is "sticky". The only way to do it is to peel it off a bit more and get the panel into the slot.

I had Xpel Ultimate on my Ibis White Audi S4 for 5 years and had no yellowing whatsoever. I did use Xpel sealant on it from the day 1 though. Look at some YouTube comparisons. Here's one:

I agree, I like it more than the T. I got them from AliExpress for about $10 and was surprised how well they’re made, it’s metal too. The only thing I had to space them myself as the template they came with didn’t have the proper spacing.

You need to select Master Boot Record while formatting.

I debadged mine for PPF and ceramic. Replaced with letters on the back, but kind of like badgeless frunk and might keep it this way!

Yes, just fill out MV1 as @iluvmacs mentioned. You can also do a new MV1 using the DMV link and mail the whole thing with TTL info and payment to Madison.

I'm still figuring this out. I have Uniden R3 and it has the "Battery Protection" mode which turns the radar off after 30 mins of inactivity. I had to manually turn it on so my understanding it's constant 12 V. Doesn't really bother me as it's easy to access the power button to turn it on or off.

Although you can enter the details and get the Blendmount that suppose to fit, it won't. The stem space between the mirror and cover is too small and so far I don't know if Blendmount will revise the design. While it looks absolutely incredible I had to return mine and went back to stock suction...

Customers like options, but customers also don't like to make decisions. I like Tesla's simplified model more than say Porsche's where you can pick and choose everything to a wheel cap. It's fun, but for mainstream customers it's overwhelming :)

I just had full front wrapped in WI and paid $1400 for Xpel Ultimate. Takes quite a bit of manual work hence the price. I had to do paint prep and remove the logo, fender caps, and blinkers myself, but the results are great and PPF mostly wrapped where possible.

PPF is the way to go. It's expensive to install, but for my peace of mind is well worth it :)

I consider this a match. Although the pain reflects differently on metal vs plastic, it's the same tone. In real life, it's not visible as on some other car pics I saw.

The way I understand it, it's more of reengineering of internals, not necessarily redesign of things you will notice,. Done more in order to create an efficient manufacturing/engineering process.

When I did my research a while back I ended up getting Rocky Mounts Monorail 2” hitch rack. I compared all brands looking at platform racks and ended up with the one I felt was the best value given the quality, looks, fit and finish. They went up in price though and sold out everywhere.

Picked mine up on Sat. No major issues that would stop me from taking delivery, a couple of little things Tesla would have to fix. The timing from order to delivery was extremely quick.
