Great news. Bakersfield would be even better since it is closer to the halfway mark between Barstow and Harris Ranch. Either I mistook the Bakersfield dot for Mohave on the current "coming soon" chargers, or Bakersfield is an up and coming location that hasn't been listed yet.

Thanks for the update AV-NUT. I won't get my hopes up for our return trip next week. The extended charge/travel time for the Vacaville detour is painful with the family in the car. At least the next time we take the trip to Portland ,the Manteca and Mohave superchargers should eliminate...

Whoa - 2.5 to 3 weeks is great. Not soon enough for my drive to Canada this weekend, but good enough for the trip home. I'm glad they are starting on the Fall superchargers now. 54 new chargers for the Fall would not be credible if they weren't starting now.
