I installed the power ‘frunk’ kit and love it! Works as advertised. Only (non) issue, it refused to open after car wash when temps were sub zero. (Frozen shut). Corrected itself later in day when sun thawed it out

the paint color miss match is still present - many claim not to see it, but they are in denial - it's there in plain site. I went with MSM, which also has a bit of a miss match, but far less obvious two slightly different 'shades of grey' [ :rolleyes: ] are far better than white and yellow

I ordered and received the homelink prior to delivery. I mentioned it to my sales advisor and asked if I could/should schedule the install for the same day of delivery...and He suggested I drop it off and he would arrange for service to install prior to pickup I was VERY pleased with this...

Lots of people with miss matches and being told that is the way it is, and then excepting that as gospel. Then there are those of us who know better, and don’t just settle for opinions or second best.

I have had several white vehicle's over the years, 2 of which - pearl white. None have had paint miss matched bumpers. There is absolutely NO incentive for Tesla to correct the issue. Those of us who refuse to accept sub par paint jobs, are spending more $$ for another color (self included).

Is yours a performance as well? I wonder if it has to do with the size of the tires. (not that the crappy kalifornia paint job gets a pass) the rear 21" tires are .8" wider than the 19's and 20's. Do the 21's ( standard on the performance) stick out a little more than the 19's or 20's?

I had xpel put on mine, better and does not yellow over time like the 3m brand has been known to. here is a google map search of many PPF installers in that area - a few calls and you will surely find a better deal. Google Maps

I purchased a very expensive wood veneer center console kit for $230.00 the edges kept lifting (the parts are warped)- I tried taping the edges down over night and they still lifted - resulting in sticking center console doors and damaged veneer. (see pics) I requested a return but was refused...

Another difference between the Berlin built cars and the Fremont built cars.... The painted bumpers will actually (paint) match on the German built cars :rolleyes:

Not likely, you put a deposit down, but an actual purchase agreement was never completed. I’m in the similar situation - rather dissapointing.
