Heard today at Tesla Owners club meeting at PDX that it is two separate supercharger locations in Hood River. Employee from Tesla in charge of Supercharger locations briefed owners.
Welcome to the world of Tesla! Great to see you can still take advantage of the Washington Sales Tax exemption. I think you'll love the car. My two year anniversary with the car is tomorrow and I still look forward to driving it as much today as the day we got it.
A source on the PDXTesla email group said he contacted Wildhorse today and construction has started! The estimate is it will be up and running by the end of May! I hope that proves to be true...
I've looked on Plugshare for the HPWC in Baker City but can't find it. Is an HPWC still available?
Also - supercharge.info now shows Pendleton having received a permit.
Thanks
I tried a different browser and I see them again. I thought my Chrome browser would refresh the page when I hit F5, but it must have still grabbed it from cache.
Hope they open soon!
Sounds like WildHorse Casino in Pendleton will be getting five stalls. It appears the goal is to have it up and operational by the Pendleton Round-up, which is the second week of September. Bummer. I was hoping it would be done by mid-June.
Once future Superchargers are added to the "Coming Soon" Tesla map, how soon do they typically open? I haven't tracked a Supercharger opening for over a year but am keenly interested in the I-84 to Boise route. Could the route be open by mid-June?
The straps lock into place once you decide what size loop you need so it won't crush anything. I changed to water bottles since that is how we will use them. There is a button on the strap mechanism that you push in while you slide it to the desired size and then it locks into place. Nice to be...
Haven't heard anything new Lyon. I might go to the Lake Oswego Tesla meet and greet event on Sunday and ask for some intel. They usually aren't very forthcoming.
PhilB posted some excellent photo updates today on Tesla NW Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10100353454615958&set=gm.695263103834036&type=1&relevant_count=1
Looks like 12 superchargers! Did I read that correctly? Also, I mapped that address and it looks like it is near the Arby's and Elmer's at the southern end away from where the construction was taking place.
Here is what I received from the General Manager at the Woodburn Outlet mall:
Sorry, that's PGE working on underground lines for impending road construction. :)
Anyone believe her? She had the smiley face at the end of the email. I can't imagine what kind of road work they would be doing.
My question is the Fall 2013 SC site southeast of Woodburn. My initial guess was Detroit lake heading through the Cascades to Central Oregon but there isn't much that I know about for shopping/eating. Anyone else have a guess for that location?
Actually the part was only $65! Thanks for the info. I wonder if a person can just buy the part. It only has a couple volts holding it in and a few fasteners.
Anyone had to get the lower chrome plastic piece in the rear end replaced? If so, any idea on the cost? It looks like either my wife or I backed into something that broke one side of the chrome plastic piece that is on the lower part of the rear bumper. Also, is this something I can have the...
Tommaso- curious why you thought leaving your MS plugged in while going to see a movie was acceptable? If you had left your contact info were you going to leave the movie and come out and move your car? How would other MS owners know if your car was finished charging and therefore you should be...
Lots of rumors have floated around about where the Superchargers will be installed south of Portland. Most have listed the Woodburn outlet mall. I reached out to the management company at the mall and received the following response:
Thank you for your email. At this time, there are no plans...
Excellent pics! Anyone heard anything new about Woodburn Oregon? I searched for permits but couldn't find anything. Not even sure they have them listed online.
Thanks Lyon. How much faster is that charger than the level 2 Blink chargers near UofO? Also, how far away is this charger from campus? Thanks again for offering up your adapter.
Thanks Chad. I have twin chargers but no adapter. I may just have to use a standard L2 charger and leave it on for a few hours before heading to the coast. Adding another 60 miles of range should probably do the trick.
