I have been having these problems on and off for a few months. Now every time this happens, I schedule an appointment on the Tesla app and ask them to reinstall the software. Version 2022.16.1.2 seemed to work but now I am experiencing all these problems (no autopilot, cruise control, or visual)...

firmware or software? any idea how many vehicles are affected by this?

same problem here. Cruise control and AP became unavailable for no reason. there's no visualization of other objects (cars and traffic lights) on screen either. Went to Tesla service and they updated the firmware and said the issue was due to the old firmware. Now two weeks later cruise...

I just tested it. It plays OVER the default forward and revere sounds instead of replacing it. So I really don't see the point of having custom driving sounds.

I am sure this will be bait and switch to get more beta testers now, improve the NN, then increase the price as it matures. Remember this is a subscription model so your price is not locked in. Software 2.0 also needs lots of data to train and cover the long tail.

Does anybody know if the Powerwall actually learns from the event type and outage history? We had a "hazardous weather condition - flood warning" yesterday but no storm watch was triggered. We lost power last night along with 35,000 other houses in the area :(

Tesla has their strategy totally backwards. They need to significantly decrease the price of EAP/FSD so there will be more users producing data to help train the neural networks. More FSD users means more beta testers and faster improvement of FSD. At $8,000 you'd better buy TSLA than FSD.

Just came across this thread. Now I understand why my rear aero wheel covers went missing. Also missing was the rear bottom panel cover...

Thanks, willow_hiller. Tesla didn't give me any explanation why numbers are so low. I've asked them to give me production numbers for each panel. Hope they really can work with their customer on system design...

I got my design from Tesla and the estimated annual production was really low for an 8.16kW system. A lot of north facing panels that don't produce much. I'll probably not go with 2 PWs due to the low output. Any thoughts? Tesla has not been very responsive so far... Thanks.
