I'm having this issue on a 2020 MY. Unlike the 2022, the USB port for the Cam video is in the center console beside the charging UBS instead of in the glove box. I also had the USB module changed in a service call with no improvement. Unlike user Chrushev, a reboot brings it back until the next...
I requested service on this issue and a mobile tech switched out the USB module. The module for the earlier 2020 MY has, I think, both the left C USB and the right A USB port. Did not resolve the USB-gone-on-deep-sleep-only-to-be-revived-on-reboot. Frustrating!! Worked pretty well for until...
I noticed my idle Tesla Wall Connector had an odd light status: 5 green lights solid instead of just the first one. Nothing in the manual light table addresses this. I switched the breaker on and off and it returned to normal and appears to charge normally. I logged and there were no alerts...
I have a similar issue to ones described in this thread.
MyQ works on arrival about 90% of the time, but on leaving it shows "error" about 70% of the time. The smartphone app can still communicate with the MyQ base station and close the door, but not the car.
I have to say even beyond that...
I have a early 2020 Model Y (original console and no USB in glovebox). What is the best way to secure a Samsung T5/T7 in the center console? Not sure what the best way to keep it from bouncing around and/or pulling the cord out of the USB port.
Thanks in advance for any tips!
Thanks for the replies. Good info. No, I wasn't planning on staying overnight; just looking at it as a charging option. Sounds like a 14-50 adapter would get much use unless you are a camper.
What is a "typical" campground charge to use a 14-50 outlet. Do you have to rent a space overnight just like an RV?
Seems like it could be a fairly expense charging option, but, of course, it might be the only option.
