I was a bit surprised I could unplug the CCS cable from the adapter while charging and my car was locked. At least the adapter is still locked to the car if you leave your car unattended and locked. Don't do this as you will get a notification on your monitor.

Not that the adapter is limited to 250kW, The M3 RWD & SR+ are limited to 170kW and LR & Performance are limited to 250kW for now. The best I've gotten so far is 201kW at EVGO and 189kW at Electrify America.

Not a problem. There is some misinformation on the Hansshow site. They offer a package deal that includes a L2 charger but it appears from the images you can plug the J1772 adapter into the CCS adapter. Reference Link

There is no way to limit the charge rate. It is determined by your car and the charger you are connected too. These CCS adapters are passive devices.

I will do some testing on BC Hydro & PetroCan CCS chargers using my authentic Tesla CCS adapter.

I have the authentic Tesla CCS adapter and have not had any issues charging. These devices are only an interface between your car and the CCS charger. The Tesla one has no software, and I assume these 3rd party ones are the same. I'm waiting on a 3rd party adapter to begin testing. Here's a link...

The pin is only there to block the CCS cable from being removed from the adapter attached to your car. The J1772 adapter doesn't have a locking pin and the cable can be removed from the adapter when plugged in. This is why most purchase a locking ring for the J1772. It only prevents the cable...

Not sure but if you get above 120kW, you're getting 2 kW per minute. That's a really good deal. Here in Canada, everything is by the minute. I'd prefer to pay per kWh.

Another test of the CCS Adapter. This time it's at EVGo (350kW) in Seattle. The strange thing is they charge by the minute $0.29/minute whereas most of Washington State is billed by the kWh. Got 160+kW.
