We have a number of people running 19x10" ET40 square on the Model Y, but all of them have used 275/40-19 tires. You could physically mount the factory 255s on them, but they would be too stretched in my opinion. We have a 19x9" ET34 available which would work perfectly for the factory tires...

It's unlikely an ARC-8 wheel will ever be offered for the Model 3 as the brake clearance would not be very ideal. 19" EC-7R wheels are very much happening next year. Should be early '22.
