When you're bored you try to find a rhyme and reason with Tesla I saw a single person last month getting Pilot Sport EV while everyone taking delivery within the past couple months has been getting Continental CrossContact on their 20" wheels. I think his was a Plaid.

Is there a significant difference between the regen braking on the Plaid vs the LR? Assuming 3 motors can brake significantly harder but it's at the back wheels so I'm not sure if the current regen braking is already traction limited. Any real world examples?

Please post up any rumors or thoughts. I'd love a triple motor Plaid version without the additional size and weight of the S. I think the 3 is their best platform for a performance vehicle as it's Tesla's current most nimble/lightweight/low CoG vehicle.
