Yes I've just done this as well. The advantage is that you can cut the PPF to a bigger size as I find the original stickers were too small and so I got a paint chip next to the roof.

Yeah you can open it manually but it takes a few goes to unlatch, so think there might be a couple of different issues involved. Wonder if it might be temperature related to some extent as its much worse now it's colder.

My powered boot has stopped working today as well - technician booked for 4 Feb. Mrs isn't happy as she can't fit the baby buggy in our other car.

I was at Rugby services S/C last night around 5pm and when I arrived there was only 1 S/C free, which surprised me. Were a couple of the Gridserve chargers free as well, but overall it was way busier than I expected. Still a really good setup though.

Yeah I was told it was 10% off by the lady at guest services, but it was actually free.:cool: Might not last though... although they shouldn't be short of cash given the amount my Mrs managed to spend in the shops while we were charging! 🤣

Pretty sure numberplates are just allocated, and often you only get told the registration number shortly before you collect the car.

That's odd - I picked mine up from NEC yesterday and they gave me 2 new keys to replace the warped ones before I left. Maybe they ran out given it looks like every car had the same problem.

I'm pretty sure you can use the Pod Point Tesco free chargers when the store is closed. Just make sure you comply with any parking time limits so as not to get a fine
