Ohme Charging - What Am I Doing Wrong?

I've noticed a few times recently that my car would stop charging without either going all the way to 90% (my charge limit) or use the full 4-hour window (when the Go tariff is cheapest) and have also messaged them about it. It's kinda random as some nights it's fine, others it just stops...

I thought a blue light meant it was ready to charge and hence the charger was locked, and the light needs to be white before you can detach the charger

Ohme Charging - What Am I Doing Wrong?

I just exclusively use the Ohme app, logging in with my Tesla account and telling it I'm on Octopus Go, and then set it up to never charge above 5p. Seems to work fine for me.

    Wall connector

I've got the Ohme Home charger and it's very simple to use. Integrated with Octopus Go tariff, I just plug it in and it only charges in the overnight window. Mine was installed by Smart Home Charge who I can highly recommend for a simple process and professional and tidy installation.

Does anyone else car leak water?

Ok, that's fine. It smells like water, I'm too scared to actually taste it, but reassuring to hear that it's normal.

Does anyone else car leak water?

Frequently I've noticed a pool of water under my model 3 after driving it. Now I'm pretty certain it's not leaking petrol or oil, and I phoned Tesla and they said it's the air con unit and not to worry, but I can't remember any other car I've owned to have this issue. Does anyone else...

Model 3 - weight limit in boot storage compartment

I'm trying to work out how much I can put in to the storage compartment under the boot floor in my Model 3. I've just checked and it doesn't feel like there's a solid base under the liner. What's the most people have put in that storage compartment? Has anyone managed to damage the liner in the...

    Ohme EV charger turned dumb

When I first connect the charger it starts charging but if I wait a few seconds then it stops and will use the charge settings in the app. I spoke to Ohme about this and they said it's by design

    Agile plunge pricing predictions

When does Agile get cheaper? I thought now summer is here I could start gloating again but alas it's not to be! As each day goes by I'm struggling to not move to their Go tariff. Knowing my luck though, I'll change and Agile will start being cheaper!

    Boombox is here.

Yup, and a quick Google suggests there are other sources stating this too. For example: "At slow speeds – less than 10km/h – the electric car has negligible noise, but the fuel car is up to 10dB louder, or twice as loud" Source: Are electric cars quieter than petrol or diesel cars? And a bit...

    Boombox is here.

EVs are so much quieter than ICEs at very low speeds (eg reversing). I (reluctantly) asked my wife to move the car the other day and it's incredible how quiet it is. Also why would countries mandate having a PWS on EVs if they were as audible as ICEs?

Model 3 is getting pedestrian warning noises (AVAS)?

Yup, I completely understand hence my (downvoted ;)) post above! I've heard of a number of examples where pedestrians haven't realised there was a car or that it was moving, or about to move, due to lack of engine noise.
  29. T

Model 3 is getting pedestrian warning noises (AVAS)?

I personally welcome the PWS. The car is far too quiet when reversing or driving at slow speeds. Pedestrians and other road users just don't hear you and it's verging on dangerous. Until people are retrained and look and not just listen, then something needs to be done.

    Agile plunge pricing predictions

For me personally there's 2 factors: 1 - It's made me very aware of electricity generation and how the weather and usage patterns also influences those, and has made us very mindful of when we use electricity and how much we use. 2 - This has lead to cheaper bills than our old electricity provider.

New Navigation Maps for Europe Rolling Out 2021.8

I'm intrigued to know what's in a 7GB map update as I thought the images and routing were all downloaded using the sim, and the underlying software would have been part of the main software updates. At least that's what it appears to do as sometimes the map tiles are slow to render.
