Harbor freight has the recall on the jack stands not the jacks. I agree with you, I would never use the jack stands from Harbor Freight.

I wouldn't use the Harbor freight jack stands, but the Jack that I linked is the same as a SnapOn. The fact that the Arcan weights half of the one I linked suggests that it is lighter duty. 3ton Steel vs. 2Ton Al. Its missing a lot of the bracing in the arm.
