Another vote for the skid plate from Mountain Pass. I put one on my 2021 MY a few years ago. I definitely believe it saved me some grief when I ran over a tire tread on the highway at 70 mph.

You may want to start over with these adjustments. Even if they are all the way out, they may not be balanced. Doesn't cost anything to screw them back in and do the envelope calibration test yourself to be certain.

About 2k miles on my Quattrac Pros. Really like the slightly more cushioned feel. Speed is 1 mph over what is displayed. Not an issue. Glad I did this!

And a floor mat over the rear hatch area covers everything up nicely and makes it easier to load things since you don't have to work around the inevitable unevenness between the two panels.

I think it all depends on the gaps between the glass and the frame. If they are small the improvement may not be noticeable. I have had zero issues with the band coming loose.

Still running the same settings. I am planning to go 14/14 front and 14/12 in the rear to try it out. Haven't messed with it since it is winter and cold. :) I am also not the best person to judge this stuff. I don't have any real experience with feeling the different settings.

I found the same thing when I tried to adjust the lower portion of my front struts. I tapped it with a hole punch (gently). After it moved the first time it was fine, but still needs to be lubed somehow. Can we spray it with silicone?

I did not do that, but it is not a bad plan. Or, you could do the other parts first and see how confident you become. I think you can do it. Just make sure you have an assistant. That makes things much more easier for everything.

This is so very true! I did the hood first and have four hairs under there, one right in the middle. The light wasn't good when I did this. It is the first thing everyone sees when they look at my car. Going to redo the hood when it warms up.

Not sure. I wasn't planning on doing that so didn't check into it. That said, there was nothing major abut the parts I cut. Just the two sub-trunk carpet/foam pieces. No idea what Tesla would charge for that.

After thinking about this for way too long, I started exploring how to do this today (inspired by other threads and YouTube videos). Before I knew it, I had completed the modification and storage of the Modern Spare. I am pretty happy I got this done.

I did mine in the driveway with the car front on two jackpoint jack stands. Lying on my back with the panel on my chest then lift it into place and catch the screws. Not bad. Did the same in the rear.

I think it took a friend and I about three hours to do the bumper. No cutouts and the PPF was two pieces. I saved this part until the end so had accumulated a small amount of experience. That was a really good idea. ;-)

I have 2021 MY AWD 20" Induction wheels with AB. I just put on new tires at 24k miles since I didn't want the Goodyear OEM during winter. I probably could have easily made it to 30k miles.
