Sales tax and registration on the 21 Model S was $5650, the Model 3P would be $3800. I’m lucky to live in a low tax area. Doesn’t seem like a deal breaker to me.

Every vehicle with an advanced infotainment system has suffered from occasional bugs and reboots. I wouldn't let this get under your skin if you otherwise love the car. If it does bother you, then do go ahead and move on. I'm sorry it didn't work out.

Indeed, 130 mph is a common speed in many places. The car is rated at 155 or better, so the latches should have held and certainly have been tested at those speeds.

Yes, it’s been standard on all Model S for several years. In 2019 it was updated to be adaptive to road conditions and your driving style. I’ve driven cars with and without this and it’s a massive improvement. Definitely recommend the air for the best ride and handling.

There are a lot of upgrades, check Tesla Tap if you want a comprehensive breakdown. But, I'd think carefully about the used one I doubt it's as good of a value when you account for all the stuff they include in the new ones.

In other news, all the financing was revised to include FSD and the contract is done. I’ll ACH the down payment tomorrow and be ready to pick up hopefully Monday.

The difference seem to be small, I ordered blue, with the cream interior and FSD. So, that’s an extra $11k in options. Regardless, I’d imagine they’ll update you pretty soon.

I just spent a week driving a 2017 Model S 75 and didn't think the LEDs were dim at all. I don't see why you'd choose to upgrade them.

noooooo it’s subjective. Want the smaller, easier to park, sportier car? Get the 3. Want the larger, more luxury and traditional car? Get the S. Which is better depends on what you value.

One thing I haven’t seen a lot of discussion around is the target market for these cars. M3 was designed to get the price down, essentially try and introduce an ‘economy’ version of a luxury brand. Which takes me to the S\X... these are pure luxury cars. Bigger, quieter, and more expensive...

It lowers the pressure to lower the ride height, but that has the effect of reducing the available compression for the suspension. So, if you do end up hitting a bump it will be quite jarring compared to the standard ride height.
