I got the small one's put on when I picked the car up (they "forgot" the LR comes with them but had them on site and fitted them quickly) I bought the larger one's as you can see from the pic I need a bit more protection.

Yes that's the place. They had a Tesla banner up at the entrance then it's next left and there's a mobile unit to sort you out. The mudflaps should be standard on a LR which is why I queried them.

How do you check the cameras? It's all new to me and I'm not sure how/what I should be looking for when I pick mine up. Paint, bodywork, panel alignment I can see but it's all the other features that's unknown territory.

I asked about home delivery but was told that's only available for those on lease as everyone else has to sign paperwork at collection and that can't be done on delivery - apparently!

Problem is that Shuttle Bus was only available for Car Park customers who'd paid and Staff with passes!

I used to work there and know that some of the Car Parks are miles away - especially if you're walking.

I'm collecting from the SC on the 16th. Hope they don't move it to an Airport Car park. Having sold my previous car, it's far easier to get to the SC than some Airport car park that's not accessible by public transport.

Every time I've spoken with them they say it's not possible to say which ship your car is on! a) I don't believe that and b) Some people get lucky

I understand all the above, but the allocation of a VIN is the only time you know you might actually be getting a car. "you enter a delivery location and they work out when they can deliver that spec" Well that's what THEY do but they never told me that or heve ever given me the date they can...

This is why some of us just can't understand the system! There are quite a few people who ordered in SEPT that haven't been allocated, yet someone who ordered a couple of weeks ago gets matched. Good luck to you mate, but how the hell do they allocate cars?

Why do we always get a different story regarding what's on what ship, when it's coming etc ? Do they really not know at HQ?

I've been following this for some time! I just wondered if this is the normal pattern for shipping - nothing for the first month in the quarter,3 ships in quick succession then maybe nothing in the last month.

So far this quarter we have RCC Antwerp, Triton Ace and Grand Aurora all departing within 2 weeks. Are there any other ships planned or is this it? Just seems very concentrated with nothing arriving at all in October and the quarter ending December. p.s. the info re routing, Panama Canal etc...

Actually that's not too far from the truth from what I've heard! They don't manufacture to order, but build what previous experience shows people buy hence why they "match" you. What they're doing is going down the list of people's orders and seeing what's been made and loaded onto the ship...

Having ordered very early in Sept, I hope mine arrives before those orderd in Oct! Nothing personal, and seeing as Antwerp is the first ship in Q4 then how on earth were Tesla quoting Oct deliveries?

It means if someone orders a car through your referral link then both they and you get 1,000 miles free from the supercharger.
