I recently wanted to charge with 110 v using the cord that came with the car. While the part that fits into the charging port had two pins, the part was too wide to fit into the port. How can one charge with 110 v when the part is too wide to fit into the port?

While I attached the front license plate as directed, the first time I had my car washed in a touchless car wash, the license plate fell off. I am not the first person who has this problem. Any suggestions? Since the car is new, I have asked Tesla to put it on but I still feel uncomfortable.
