There's an easy solution to this. Don't buy a new Tesla till they announce a big change or feature. Kind of like how I don't buy a new iPhone unless it's the brand spankin new model. That way you can feel good about it longer before the next cool feature is out

I tried both configs. I can definitely feel more squat in acceleration with the p85 with coils. Learned that the cause of this hum is an imbalance of something in the motor. I was told it was similar to an imbalances load of a washing machine spinning fast. So far the fix for my car is holding up.

That's why I upgraded to the studio sound package.:smile:

The SC fixed my hum after two inverter swaps. I can drive really fast 85 mph+ without any drivetrain noise at all.

Does traction control interfere when you floor it? I notice that I get wheel spin with the stock p85+.. might upgrade if I can eliminate the wheel spin at launch

You guys are paying too much. I did a price match at Americas tire with an online tire store. Came out to be around 550 a tire with mounting and taxes and Im in California. Michelin ps2 for the rears of a p85+

Would 285/30 21's fit on the rear wheels of the P85+? Even if they can get it mounted, do you guys think there will be clearance issues for the rear? I'm trying to get a cheaper set of tires after the PS2's wear out since most of the driving I do with this car is commuting. Thanks

Trying to understand this... If I were to set the air suspension in the high setting instead of standard, will my tires last longer? From what I've read on this thread and the other ones, the tires are not as cambered when the car is higher
