Had a look but they won’t insure me since I’m under 25, looks very good though so I may try it out when I meet the requirements.
Reading all the comments etc I do think it’ll be W smarter financial decision for me to wait until I’m 24/25 so my insurance is much lower and more in the range I’m...
I completely understand where you’re coming from, I’ve financed my past 2 cars but wa a looking to outright buy this Tesla and keep it for quite a while as to save money on cars in the long run.
I had a black box policy on my first car and really couldn’t enjoy driving it at all over the first...
It’s not that I can’t afford to pay the 3k but I just don’t see the point in paying it when I can wait another couple years to have it under 1k and not waste my money unnecessary.
Unless someone knew of any insurance companies that were cheaper that I may not have found.
Yeah I’ve played around with that a little bit, I could get a couple hundred pound off the price with adding my parents to the policy but nothing significant enough to make it affordable unfortunately.
I’m wondering if anyone under the age of 25 has got a Tesla and how much they pay for insurance as right now at the age of 22 with 3 years driving and 3 years no claims I’m looking at at least £3k a year. I’ve shopped about on all the major car insurance websites and some won’t even insure me...
So as of right now I'm planning on getting a tesla model 3 LR around 3 years from now, I am currently in a secure job in the construction industry earning around 35-40k a year. I'm wondering if this annual salary warrants me buying this ev as I have really wanted to get into the ev market for a...

In my current situation a home charger isn't very viable, I hope by the time I'm ready to buy my tesla that will change but if it doesn't then the chargeplace network seems like my best bet until I am able to get a home charger installed.
I have saw the octopus energy is what a lot of ev owners...
If you do get an email back if you could let me know either here or via pm that would be much appreciated. If it turns out my council is beginning to charge then I may try and get a home charger installed quicker than I was planning.
Yeah I’m hoping by then there will be a reduction in cost of the car aswell as improved efficiency in the cold as giga Berlin will be up and running by then. Here’s hoping anyway!
As of right now I do journeys of no more than 30 miles per day and at weekends it all really depends, I could be doing 100 miles or none. However as I’m in Scotland we have chargeplace which is a network of chargers ranging from 7kw to 50kw chargers that have no cost around my area. I believe...
That’s been a great help, I’ll definitely be a bit more heavy footed when I first get the car I think .
I currently stay in the central belt to answer your question.
Wow! What app is this you use because it looks very helpful
I asked this in another part of the forums but I was advised to ask here for more specific answers.
Hi, I'm planning on buying a model 3 LR in the next 2-3 years, my question to you is that I stay in Scotland and I want to know what kind of range/efficiency I'll be getting. On average we get...
Again, thank you everyone for the very informative replies, this has helped me get a better understand of what the car will be like to drive and has given me much more confidence about the range fluctuations.
I hope to share everyone’s joy of owning a Tesla soon.
Thanks, that’s given me a much better understanding of what to expect in the colder months of the year. Really appreciate it!
Yeah I know that there probably will be a lot of changes from now until the time I’m ready to buy one but I just thought I would get this question off my mind as I’ve...
Hi, I'm planning on buying a model 3 LR in the next 2-3 years once I have saved a big enough deposit. My question to you is that I stay in Scotland and I want to know what kind of range/efficiency I'll be getting. On average we get temperatures of around 11°c annually, winter it is on average of...
