I hear that also. It's much louder than my 21 Model S used to be when sitting idle or charging. BUT I will say it is definitely built better.

Maybe I will have to pay more attention next time I am in the car. Thanks.

less than 24 hours with my new MX I’ve noticed a weird “hum” while sitting in the car in park. I never noticed this in my model S. FYI this happens both from a cold start and even after the battery is warm.

Mine was built on the same exact day! You'll have to let me know how the build quality was on that day! My EDD is 3/23 - 3/30. I was really hoping that as we got closer to the end of the month on deliveries this rumored update with the front bumper camera and ambient lighting would show up.

So I asked this same question because from when my VIN was assigned to delivery seemed really long and the SA said it's just what the estimated transit time is (that's BS, but whatever). And from what I am seeing there are a lot of deliveries that seem to be in the range of 3/23-3/31.

I asked the SA over text.

I think I've seen a 3/1 and 3/5 build reported on here that have taken delivery and neither have received the upgrades. I have a 3/7 build but I don't take delivery until between 3/23-3/30. I've been following everything closely and haven't seen a report on any platform of a customer taking...

Putting it on hold releases the VIN they assigned you to the next buyer. You then go back in the queue and get a new delivery window without a VIN assigned. The SA should be able to explain the process to you to make sure you are comfortable with doing this because I've seen reports of people...

You just let you SA know you aren't ready to take delivery and want to put your order on hold. They will give your VIN to the next buyer and you can release your hold whenever you're ready within 14 days. I regret doing it now that I know all these rumors were just BS. I could've had my MX...

Nope never heard of that, but looks like you're in Canada so maybe the rules are different?

I have a VIN assigned with a March 7th build date. My advisor told me that those features aren't on the car and that they don't exist. (maybe they will after April 1st. but they are trying to close our a quarter so they will push w/ promotions for everyone to take delivery this month).

You may have better luck getting something out of the Canadian's than we do in the States. Canadian's can be a bit more pleasant :)

Did they say they knew anything about the front bumper camera? Haven't heard of any advisor that has confirmed this is in fact happening any time soon. Would be great to hear confirmation.

I just received confirmation that my vehicle build date was 3/7/24. So I guess we will see later this month when I take delivery.

Damn...I got a little excited, but I figured that was the case. I am hoping we start hearing something about post 3/1 build deliveries so we can debunk or confirm this rumor once and for all.

I am in the same exact boat. I have an order on hold as of yesterday. They wanted me to take delivery today it all happened too quickly so I assume I may have gotten assigned a vehicle someone rejected. Don't know how long to wait on the hold because I am trying to transfer FSD.
