It is quite normal. I was in a group waiting for a MYP in December and we all were essentially doing the same. Now that I have the car, I do feel a little emptiness since I'm not mashing my F5 key and posting here 20 times per day :-)

No way to know for sure, but legend has it that if you don't take delivery now, it'll probably be March before you get your car and you'll be facing the same EoQ/EoY rush/volume.

Both cars look great! What color is that wrap? Can't tell if it's like a baby blue or just white with some pearl to it. Also, where did you get the front spoiler for your M3P? Looks great :-)

I have MyQ as well for my Chamberlain opener. I also setup homebridge so it integrates with Homekit (would be nice if it did that natively) so I can setup a scene so the door opens automatically when I get close.

I've seen a lot of people concerned about their cars having miles on them. When you buy a new ICE car at a dealership they generally do have 100s of miles on them from people test driving the car. It is just part of it and you can bet the ICE dealership isn't going to comp you $1/mile like Tesla...

VINs are non-sequential. The more important aspect is the build date. Always ask for that and it should better tell you what recent upgrades it may or may not have.

If you take delivery before the end of the month, you're also getting a year of free super charging (for whatever that's worth to you). Tesla employees confirmed it in the unofficial Tesla Discord.

While it is strange and concerning that there hasn't been a MYP w/ tow delivered in a while, if you look at the LR deliveries, many of those have hitches. I think it's just a coincidence. Clearly there isn't a shortage to hitches. I'm guessing/hoping there's going to be a big run of MYPs for end...

Was it still drivable? Could you have driven to a Service Center if you were given the option? Seems odd they'd say it needed a tow if you could still drive it even at a reduced capacity (unless they thought it was to prevent some kind of damage). How slow were you limited to?
