This is normal. We have a 2019 M3 and MY. The car will make all kinds of noises during updates. Also can make noises when parked. Unlike a gas car, your Tesla is monitoring and doing things even when parked.

While insurance is hard to compare from one person to another, in Illinois Tesla insurance has been super. Was with State Farm, and Tesla cut our insurance by around 60% and we upped liability coverage. This is for full coverage.

We had a vibration in our newly picked up MY last month. Service was outstanding, got us in quickly and addressed 100% with no charge. This was in St. Louis. So our experience was very positive. Just sharing so folks don't only hear the negative posts.
