By way of an update and to let people know that it does work, I had my smart meter installed on the 21st January, switch to Go emailed through to me on the 28th to agree the T&C's and activated at midnight on the 29th. About a 5 weeks from beginning to end with Christmas / New Year in between...

Install was done as promised and I’m now all smart metered up. Just waiting for the email to allow me to sign up for Go - the Tesla is in need of some juice so hopefully this will be soon! Sorry for all those that have been having problems - I’ve had the opposite experience.

I'm in the middle of a switch and quite pleased so far. All pretty seamless with my smart meter install appointment for next week (10 days after requesting it). Obviously the proof will be in the pudding, but so far I'm happy.

Had a call from Winchester SC and a very helpful agent. Told me that the rear door handles do not sit flush with the body (unlike the fronts) and so likely there was not much they could do about it. The misaligned boot is marginal so I cancelled the appointment as it’s not worth my while 2 hours...

Exactly the same. Email and ‘preparation’ status - which means it’s not been accepted / reviewed yet so will be chasing up next week.

Mine is also booked for the 22nd (8:30 am) so will call them to confirm. Hoping it will be a ‘whilst you wait’ appointment otherwise I’ll be cancelling and trying to get a mobile one (if they exist!).

@Tranceporter thanks - I’ll call them next week and see what the situation is. My booking is still showing as ‘pending’ but the SC contact I spoke to who was very knowledgable about Winchester said that staffing was the only problem and they were close to sorting that.

Mine are the same. Got it booked in for early January to sort as it doesn’t look great.

I think the blue with the black de-chrome and uberturbines still looks the business!

I'm also leasing - took about 12-15 hours for my App to go live but didn't get the email telling me it was available until 48 hours later. Just keep checking and eventually it should spring into life. Until them, just use the key card and enjoy!

Had mine a month now and no issues. Connected all the time to WiFi so can check usage morning noon and night!
