Stephen @Hansshow just got back to me this evening and had the Support Team send me Hansshow Firmware v6. Going to try flashing the Control Box tomorrow and see if this fixes the close and trunk speed issues.

@JT_M3P are you able to adjust the Trunk Closing Speed? When I hold down the Tailgate button, I can't seem to get it past 3 consecutive beeps. I've seen other videos of the older Hansshow silver metallic control box go up to 6 beeps for the fastest trunk speed setting.

I also didn't need to remove the bumper or tail lights for the strut wires. I had originally routed the strut wires through the tail light holes as @magrider mentioned, but ended up re-doing this and routed through the 2 blue grommets in the lower trunk area as shown in the Hansshow v4 install...

I've reached out to Hansshow via WhatsApp earlier this week but unfortunately support has not yet been able to put me in contact with an engineer to help me troubleshoot. For now I manually closed the trunk so I can still drive the car, and if need can manually open the trunk by low crawling...

Thanks for the suggestion. Just gave that a try and unfortunately doesn't look like it changed the behavior after I plugged the power back in.
