    Frunk latch?

Thanks for this post! I know it's been here awhile, but I just had my frunk fail to open (primary latch worked, secondary was apparently holding it) and trying this trick, using the app, got it to fully open. I think that there was some moisture freezing that was involved as I also used a hair...

    model y long-range 12v battery

OK, so I did actually install an Ohmmu (Lithium) 12V battery in my 2020 MY about a year ago (original battery still OK, just wanted to check it out). The Ohmmu battery worked fine for about a week, but then I started receiving messages from the car that the 12V battery needed to be replaced. So...

    Phone

Haven't seen this discussed anywhere else, so I'm wondering if maybe one someone else has seen it and can help. I quite often am on the phone when I get in the car leaving from home or as I'm arriving at home. I do have the Homelink set to Auto open the garage and that works fine. However, the...

    Setec CCS to Tesla Adapter

I can confirm that the cable used can be problematical. My adapter was recognized on the 3rd cable I tried. Thanks for the hint here as I had already tried 2 different cables but moved on to the third upon reading your recommendation.

    Tesla App Forgets Phone Key

Any new info on this? My 2020 Model Y has exactly the same issue. Happens about 3 times a year. However, this last time, the Tesla app is unable to set up the phone key again. It says that there's a failure to "find" the Tesla and suggests moving closer... when I'm actually sitting in the car.

One touch auto up/down window control not working

This issue just arose on my 2020 Model Y as well, and your calibration fix resolved it. Thank you!

    Explicitly locking the Model Y

Just tested this on my Model Y: Open the door, then press the lock icon on the display, exit the car and close the door. My car was locked and I had to use the key card to unlock it. The main thing is, I think, be sure to open the door *before* hitting the lock icon. Of course, this is another...

    Explicitly locking the Model Y

Yes... the ring works very well. It's the same as a key card. Note, however, that if you do not use a fob or phone as your key, the auto-lock function is disabled. I personally, with the ring, would like to be able to use auto-lock because I won't take the ring off. But the car doesn't know it's...

Right Pillar Camera Blocked or Blinded

I have had the same issue occur regarding condensate (B Pillar camera). It was during full daylight and followed a few hours of rain, so very high humidity, at about 45 degrees F. Based on the warning of camera blockage and the condensate that could not be cleaned off, I requested a service...

Right Pillar Camera Blocked or Blinded

I've seen this several times in the past 2 weeks here in Iowa. There is condensation inside the glass over the camera. And, to date, it has only occurred on the right side B pillar. I think that auto drive will not engage when this happens as it is a blind spot. I also found a Service Bulletin...
