I wish I would have noticed it. It was really hard to see until the car was washed, and even then some may not have noticed. The windshield was more obvious, but mostly when wet.
I did take a picture of the spinning camera and submitted with the service request. They still wrote it up with camera obstructed, could not duplicate problem. I personally think it has less to do with the camera and more to do with the other computer issues. We’ll see if it comes back...

I have not, but as I understand, if you compound/buff enough you could potentially get rid of them. The problem is that in the process of getting rid of the pitting, you could potentially go through the clear coat - especially with how thin Tesla paint is know to be.

@GreenHokie Understand your point, but I took no offense. I was really happy about the 2021 because of the heat pump, and the black trim was a plus. If I had the choice to buy a pre or post refresh 2020/2021, I would have chosen the post-refresh every time.
Thanks for the confirmation. All said, I understand that things happen, and I want to be understanding, but I’ve got 1,700 miles on the car and I’ve been through all this. I’d say almost 500 of my miles are to or from Tesla for service.

I have my first service appointment tomorrow to take care of a couple delivery issues. Unfortunately, I’m stuck on 2020.39.103 because although I saw an update (2020.48.12.1) the same day I brought it home (23 Dec), the update failed and went away. Hopefully they can get that sorted out...
When you swipe from left to right from your first iPhone screen, you can add the Tesla app to that screen. Let me know if that doesn’t help, and I can post more details.

When I picked up on the 23rd, there were two trucks at the Tysons DC unloading, and my car was scheduled to arrive the day prior. I have a feeling they are turning them around pretty quick and have a steady flow of them arriving. Hopefully you’ll be fine.
Made it out of the waiting room on the 23rd. Had a few minor issues that will hopefully be taken care of at my service appointment on the 30th.

I’d guess no based on my 22 Dec delivery date getting pushed back a day. I got an automated call this morning at 0900 asking to confirm my delivery for 1600 tomorrow, along with a text:

I don’t understand how I got lucky and ordered later than some but still ended up with a delivery date (22nd at Tysons). I can’t seem to find any common threads as to why mine came before others based on the spreadsheet.

10 minutes ago I received the long awaited text, and scheduled my delivery appointment at Tysons for 22 Dec. my config date was 11/22 and VIN match date was 6 Dec. Hopefully you hear something soon!
Based on the unresponsiveness of my SA so far, can anyone confirm if there is something they have to do after VIN assignment for it to move to the next step? In other words, if someone locally drops the ball on something, can it delay my delivery?
