Your only option is to follow the warranty route. They’re not going to give you a new car unless it’s deemed a lemon after their attempts to warranty the vehicle fail. Then you have to look at your states rules.

The Y doesn’t get exported out of North America at this time so I don’t think you have to much to worry about. The only wait is the 7 seater production line. Being so close to the factory, I imagine you still have a chance today.

Happened to me but the VIN was 159 vs 160, one day difference in build date. They were trying to deliver 2 days early and had one on the lot already. I’d say take a look and if it looks good, don’t over think it and enjoy.

yeah it’s a little frustrating how they package and send the film. Last time when I contacted them about what to do, they just sent me a RMA to return it for replacement. They didn’t really respond to my inquiry, just sent the authorization.

Agree. It’s entirely inefficient to be sourcing 2 different headlights and just non-P Y’s getting them. Unfortunately it’s up to the Y’s to finish out their current supply as the 3’s get exported to Europe (at least that’s my theory).

If you have a sales advisor, they should be able to look up the born on date for you. If they’re savvy enough, they may be able to figure out which updates are on your car.
