I unfortunately live in crime ridden SF and my model 3 has been broken into twice now just so they can take a look in the car. (break in and nothing taken) Wondering if there are any products that people have used to protect their rear quarter windows? Security Film? Louvers? I like the idea...

If staying stock, I’d go M3P. If modding, LR is probably the smarter choice. You can put that money towards mods. One thing that you would miss on the LR is track mode though...if doing donuts in parking lot etc is your thing :D

A little disconcerting that its normal...really sounds odd. Never heard it in other cars...This is my first EV though maybe its normal to hear all else being so quiet.

Model 3 seems to be competitively priced with their ICE competitor like a BMW 3 or Mercedes C Class. Leasing is not as competitive but thats because of Teslas pricing/ sales model. Agreed Sure maybe some incentives to get new cars on the road as EVs, but I don’t think people who already have...

Adoption should come from EVs being a better product, not gov’t propped up. Why should people who drive around in 20k Honda Civics subsidize people driving 120k Teslas and Taycans? Sorry might be getting off topic here :P

It’s not just GA, California which is obviously a super pro EV state charges higher registration for EV too to make up for gas tax. It makes sense. Don’t think EVs need much incentivizing anymore, just a level playing fuel. I didnt buy my EV to save the world or because of incentives, bought it...

I’m happy with mine! Usually drive pretty slow on the street, only floor it a handful of times. Just enjoying the EV silence and waking up to a full tank! Also car handles great and looks cool in performance trim, IMO :)

Why would they ship the car with a heated steering wheel and not activate it? Makes no sense. My guess is that the cars with hardware will come from the factory with the function enabled.

Seems like it just makes the throttle less sensitive and doesnt give you more than 50% acceleration. I like it, I drive my M3P in chill mode most of the time especially in city driving.
