H&R lowering springs 28659-1 Had these on my Model 3 2021 Refresh Long Range AWD for 4000 miles. £150 plus postage. Attached a pic of how the car looked when lowered. I also have a set of spacers, but since I do not have the exact size at hand, I have not posted the details here. DM me if...

Wheel spacers for M3 LR AWD 2021 on 19 inch v2 alloys

No rubbing with the diffuser. I do get some rubbing on the front splitter at speed or 20mph zones. I did not change the lugs. 5mm spacer is pretty thin anyway.

Wheel spacers for M3 LR AWD 2021 on 19 inch v2 alloys

Nice one. I ended up swapping my 19" v2 with the pre-refresh 20". Also added Maxton front lip and rear diffuser with H&R springs. I have 15mm spacers on the rear and 5mm on the front. Pretty pleased with the results.

Vibration/juddering at motorway speed Model 3 2021 facelift

Have you thought about doing an A/B test by swapping the wheels from your mates car to yours? Would be a quick test to see if the vibes go away. I feel they might. And if they do, then you have proof to show to Tesla Edinburgh.

Vibration/juddering at motorway speed Model 3 2021 facelift

As I suggested earlier, Ask them to swap alloys and tyres like forlike from another car, and let you do a quick test drive. If you feel that the vibes are gone, then ask them for a replacement set (or keep the one they have swapped from the other car)

Vibration/juddering at motorway speed Model 3 2021 facelift

My problem was fixed by swapping from 19" new style sports to 2020 (pre refresh) 20" performance alloys. But I think the real issue in my case was the 19" Hankook run flats which caused the vibration. Now I have no vibration whatsoever. So if you guys are facing this issue, the simplest...

Wheel spacers for M3 LR AWD 2021 on 19 inch v2 alloys

No, I ended up swapping 20" performance alloys instead, That added a bit of offset as is. I have got 5mm spacers with me, going to try that soon.

    Very Shaky/ Bumpy Ride

If you have a forum member living close to you and have pre-refresh alloy wheels (19 or 20") without the run flats, I think you should try swapping his alloys onto yours and see if the problem goes away. By all means buy him a drink or pay him for his time, but it would be hell lot cheaper...

Home Charge Points Discussion and Suggestions [megathread]

Ok all installed and charging. Installation took couple of hours. I have zero knowledge about electrical stuff, so I will post a pic of the electric meter unit and the SyncEV wall charger.

Home Charge Points Discussion and Suggestions [megathread]

I had a Whatsapp video call with their sales director and he basically stated that their chargers are similar to Zappi and do not need earthing rod. Pluys it was cheaper. They are a smaller company. Give them a shout and see how you like it. Having it installed today, so wil post pics once done.

Model 3 Long Range 2021 refresh 19" wheels [question about lowering or spacers]

Looks much better one lowered I must say! Very cool! Curious to see how the 2021 LR looks since the alloys wheels have the new flat look
  13. T

    Very Shaky/ Bumpy Ride

Yes. Also think they are run flats which might be leading to more vibrations. The Michelin T0 are not run flat (I am told), so I presume they do a better job at soaking some vibrations
  14. T

    Very Shaky/ Bumpy Ride

As an update, a member on M3 facebook group was selling his 20" pre-refresh performance. I swapped them today, and he vibrations have mostly gone away. So either my alloys came bent from the factory, or the Michelins on the 20's are better than the hankooks. That being said, the vibrations still...

Model 3 Long Range 2021 refresh 19" wheels [question about lowering or spacers]

So I swapped my new style 19” with old style performance 20” with 15mm spacers and 20mm in the rear. I forgot that the 20” come with 245 tyres and 19” come with 235 tyres, so that 10mm extra right there. So ordered a new set of 5mm spacers for the fronts, and going to swap the 15mm to the rear...

    Very Shaky/ Bumpy Ride

The guys at SC assured me they did. They had my car for 5 days including extended weekend drive wehre the tech drove it for 60 miles. They have put it on ramp and check that eveyrtihg underneath is secure and torqued to spec.
  17. T

    Very Shaky/ Bumpy Ride

That's what I am getting doen tomorrow. Had the wheels balanced twice and each time they were out of balance. Today at the SC, they again balanced the weekls. 3 were out by a minimal amount, the 4th was out by 90 grams! They swapped the wheel for a new one from one of their inventory cars...

    Very Shaky/ Bumpy Ride

Second this. The ride is trash. I have owned plenty of sports cars in the past. With all of them, the ride was firm when the road was bad. Bumps would not soaked properly. With M3, it's weird setup. Big bump;s are soaked up nice, but on normal/fairly smooth roads I get constant...

Vibration/juddering at motorway speed Model 3 2021 facelift

That's the next on the list. Though I am preparing myself to resign to the fact that I will feel all bumps through steering wheel even on the smoothest of roads. Car is currently with a tech at Winchester SC for an a extended drive test over the weekend

    UK Charge Point Installer Recommendations

I paid upfront as well. Waiting for my install. I am going with SyncEv. They have their own installers
  21. T

Vibration/juddering at motorway speed Model 3 2021 facelift

I got them balanced today as stated in my above. Makes no difference. It's probably something transmitting the vibes through the chassis and not the tyres imo.

    Let’s talk alloy wheels

One of the guys had posted pics of his alloys in black finish and they looked much better. I think it hides that wheelcap style finish much better

Home Charge Points Discussion and Suggestions [megathread]

Just got off a video call from SyncEv sales director. I am going ahead with the install with them. £595 plus a wall box next to electric meter. So £628 all in after OLEV grant for their 7.4 kW charger. They compare themselves with Zapii V2 as the benchmark. Have asked them if they use Viridian...

Vibration/juddering at motorway speed Model 3 2021 facelift

Ok so update from me. I am due to service appointment on 14th at Winchester SC. I have had the car road force balanced today, and it’s made matters worse. Now I feel vibration all across the speed range (30-70) and it’s intermittent. So balancing does not seem to be the issue here. It’s...

    Let’s talk alloy wheels

100% agree. If I get hold of pre-refresh 19" sport/stiletto I would snap them up tbh. They look very smart. The current ones look like wheelcaps lol.

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Awesome thanks. Quite like the FC04 and Turbines, but against based in USA. Shipping would be a bomb :)

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Will do cheers. I am keeping a budget of less than £1000 for the set. Honestly, if I get a set of 19” OEM stilettos (the ones prior to the 2021 refresh), I will snap them up; but they are hard to come by on eBay UK or thereabouts
  30. T

    Let’s talk alloy wheels

Nice! I am looking at something which looks similar to Zero G wheels except in 19”. I have already got H&R springs and spacers are on order. Once I have them I will post some pics. Hopefully a few more peeps will post pics of their aftermarkets wheels :)
  31. T

    Let’s talk alloy wheels

Yes, you are correct in that the offsets and sizes are same, but I am more after brands/wheels that people are going for that are available in UK, instead of importing them from overseas and paying customs/delays.
  32. T

    Let’s talk alloy wheels

I see a master thread for alloy wheels mod in the main forum, but all those brands/makes are on the other side of the pond. I read through tens of pages on that thread and struggled to find any from UK. So a question for Moderators as well. Would it be worth making a master thread for alloy...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Anyone know of any wheels that is a straight swap for OEM 2021 refresh 19” ones please? Apart from T-sport line which are out of my budget, I am looking for wheels in the UK that don’t require any mods and are a drop-in replacement for stock wheels. Every wheel listed here is from a company...

Home Charge Points Discussion and Suggestions [megathread]

Just had an update. The installer said that it would cost £1100-1200 all in for the Zappi V2 install post OLEV grant :( Looks like I might have to consider EO Mini Pro of PodPoint
  37. T

Home Charge Points Discussion and Suggestions [megathread]

What did people pay on average for Zappi V2 installs? I got a quote back saying £800 for the charger and £300 for install. I have queried if that’s £800 after OLEV grant or before. I am based in Swindon.

    Model 3 Leasing UK

Ooh nice. So maybe I could buy the Acceleration Boost from Winchester Tesla via card payment. Also for people who took delivery between 29th and 31st Dec should get a free year's worth of supercharging and 3 months free FSD. I already have the FSD working, and my brokr confirmed that he has...

    Acceleration Boost £1.5k

Hoping to get this done at some point, I am on a lease and there I do not see my car in my Tesla Account. The car appears in my Tesla App, however I can see the upgrades option. Don't think there is a ny way around that, unless someone here knows :)

Vibration/juddering at motorway speed Model 3 2021 facelift

That sucks. In my case, after the local tyre shop balanced the front wheels, I was no longer feeling the “pins and needles” vibration through the steering at higher speeds. However there is still sort of juddering happening, almost like there is a chewing gum stuck to one of the tyres lol. I...

Model 3 Long Range 2021 refresh 19" wheels [question about lowering or spacers]

Has anyone lowered the Model 3 on the new 19" wheels? Also what spacers do people recommend for the LR? Reading different threads suggests 15mm on the front and 20mm on the rear. Looking to get an idea of stance on the new shaped sport wheels.

Has anyone lowered their Model 3 LR on the new 19" sport alloys from 2021 refresh (the flat looking ones). I am looking to lower mine in a few days and add spacers as well. Wheel spacers for M3 LR AWD 2021 on 19 inch v2 alloys

Vibration/juddering at motorway speed Model 3 2021 facelift

I picked up M3 LR on 31st, Had the same tingling vibration over 60mph. Would have pins and needles in my palm if I held onto the upper half of the steering for 2-3 mins. Took ut to a local type shop and they said that my front wheels were out of balance by 20g. Vibrations in steering whele have...

Wheel spacers for M3 LR AWD 2021 on 19 inch v2 alloys

Hi, New member here. Took delivery of my M3 LR AWS in UK on 31st Dec. Loving the car so far. The front wheels were out of balance by 20, so had to get them fixed at a local shop. Was causing some high frequency vibratins at high speeds on the motorway (above 60 mph). I still have some...
