FYI this is what they said in my service report: “Noise is caused by heat pump due to firmware parameters, a firmware fix has already been integrated into a future firmware release and this will combat issue. This noise does not indicate a failed component and no damage is being caused as this...

I reported this issue and dropped it into the service centre to be checked a few weeks ago. They confirmed it is the heat pump and that it is ramping up too aggressively. They are aware of the issue and there will be a fix in a future software update to even out the heat pump RPM

Yep this is what they did with mine too - looked at the logs from the time I recorded the video. They were also able to reproduce it when I brought it to the SC. Hopefully you get a better resolution than me! Let me know how you get on

Also just for clarity, this is what they wrote about the issue in my service invoice: Carried out investigation into customer concern. Checked for alerts present at time of fault and no alerts were present relating to customer concern. Carried out thermal test and found heat pump operation...

I’d say you should book a service appointment anyway. If there are enough instances of people complaining about it then they’ll be more likely to do something about it.

Got contacted today. Irish cars will be delivered directly to home address due to covid restrictions here.

I've a VIN but no texts. Other have texts but no VIN. Seems to be different for everybody.

Most people seem to be getting told May for the performance. You could get LR before April if you ordered now by sounds of things.

Highly doubt it will be US built seen as everyone on here who ordered before and after you is getting assigned MIC VINs

Live chat wouldn’t work for me either so I emailed [email protected] and got a quick response with the VIN. No VIN showing in my account still but she said it should all show in my account by tomorrow, so maybe wait till then and see if it updates for you.

Not heard of anyone in UK or Ireland being assigned a VIN yet even though those in Germany and France seem to have been. Has anyone on here with a reservation been assigned a VIN? Wondering if Glovis Captain has any RHD onboard at all, we may all be waiting for the next ship.

Not sure it’s a given your car isn’t in Glovis Captain. I ordered in July and no allocation yet, but I fully expect my car to be delivered in the first batch (i.e. Glovis Captain). Tesla told me on phone this morning that RHD won’t be allocated until arrival in Europe due to Brexit uncertainty

Black M3LR ordered in July, RN received same day. Still not allocated a VIN but rang Tesla this morning and they said RHD cars probably won’t be assigned until arriving in Zeebrugge due to logistical issues caused by Brexit.
