I have something like this as well. Saved my butt when I was behind a hay truck and bunch of hay clogged the mesh. I figured it out when the A/C wasn't working well in 100+ degrees temperatures in Boise.

I replace the battery on a regular basis, but if it did die the keyfob works via RFID as well, no power required.

I just use the Tesla keyfob and don't use my phone as a key for the car. I've never had a problem.

I haven't read the document, but it is puzzling to me that the top minds in AI (If they actually are the "top minds") would be concerned about something that isn't truly intelligent. I have used ChatGPT and it isn't even close to a true AI. Neither is Tesla's attempt at self-driving.

I've had it beep a couple of times indicating it was closing the garage door, but the door never closed. Annoying. They should not charge for this service until it works 100% of the time.

The auto close is working for me now 90% of the time. The auto open works 95% of the time. I will not pay for it after the free trial since it is not reliable.

The lesson here is don't believe the expected miles provided to you by Tesla. It is just B.S. Switch to using battery percentage instead and figure out what your range is on your own.

This is about what I get as well in the winter with a 2019 M3P. At 80 mph, my range max is 175 miles.

Albuquerque has two superchargers now and the new one in Uptown is 250 kW with lots of charging stalls.

My nephew recently changed his order from a MYLR to a MYP and they let him do it. They also gave him the price the MYP was back when he did his order in May. Hope this info helps.

I let my charge go down to 16% in my 2019 M3P and did a test charge at a EA 150 KW CCS charger. I got a 138 KW charge rate at first. I went from 16% charge to 91% charge in 40 minutes. It was just a test.

I have all three. I have *never* had more than one flat tire at once. It could happen, but very improbable.

I bought a spare matching wheel for my M3P after I got a little curb rash on one wheel. I keep the wheel with the curb rash in the garage and will take it on any long trips. Good insurance imo. I also have a air compressor and a tire repair kit in the car.

I did the retrofit of the new charging ECU. The main issue is having the doors and trunk open before disconnecting the relay for the main battery otherwise you can lock yourself out. I had an error code to start and once I did the software update from Tesla, it works fine with CCS charging...

Update: My sdcard with the ext4 filesystem got corrupted today. I sure wish Tesla would fix this issue.

I recently switched to formatting my sdcard using the ext4 filesystem. I read on this forum that helps get rid of the issue with having to reformat the sdcard on a regular basis. It has only been 3 days, so not sure if this fix will stop the problem, but so far, so good. I love my M3P too!

No ETA. Just said they are working on it. My cruise control, etc has been working fine since that one day glitch. They are still supposed to come out tomorrow, but not sure why.

I spoke to Tesla support and they said it is a software issue with the latest build and next build should fix it. Lesson learned. Wait on installing new builds. Has Tesla heard of software testing?

I think a metal skid plate would have stopped this damage, correct? I haven't under my car in a while.

That is not much gap at all. Looks great thanks. I couldn't source reasonably priced light weight 18's and got a nail in my 20" tire, so I already bought 4 new very expensive 20's. I will keep the 18's in mind for next time I need tires.

Ok, great! It is not a mistake especially when you have just bought your first Tesla. The mistake is poor programming by Tesla. Having to monitor SoC shouldn't have to be done if the software is written correctly.
