    Yes both extender and rack are pushed in as far as possible. Only way to push the extender in further would be to drill and tap a new hole, and only way to push the rack in further would be to cut off the end to make it shorter.

    Aggressive Regenerative Braking in new RWD?

    I traded in a 2018 LR AWD Model 3 for a 2021 LR AWD Model Y recently. The Y definitely has stronger regen (and the 3 was always kept on standard regen). I think OP is right that Tesla is trying to squeeze more efficiency out of the Y.
