    Quick Question about CeramicPro Installation

After buying/receiving my new S-75D I had it immediately fully wrapped with Xpel Ultimate and am now planning given the reading I've done here of doing a CeramicPro coating on top of that for the extra protection/easy washing benefits. Regarding the wheels, the installer said there were two...

    Exterior Coating Application

Thanks everybody. From what the person at Sticker City said I gathered that they know all about the sensors and camera issues. Evidently they're cut to fit ahead of time on order before installation given make/model including holes for cameras and sensors.

    Exterior Coating Application

Also posted this at Tesla Forums site Ok I have a quick question for the Tesla nerd gurus. . I emailed my delivery specialist after noticing that my car is now in production about wanting to immediately exterior coat (Xpel Ultimate) the car. The last place I had it done was Sticker City in Van...

Maintenance Plan or Extended Service Agreement

Finalized my reservation for a new Model S75D. Just checking to see if there's a consensus here regarding the financial "wisdom" of purchasing into any of these. I bought both for my previous Tesla in 2013 and should have a better idea but just sort of lost track of some of the repair data and...

May Have to Buy a New Model S

Hwy 5 south to Escondido and north to Redding definitely has it's olfactory/respiratory challenges like Harris Ranch and just north of the supercharger there. Pee-Yew!!! Also driving through the city of Industry, aka the land of 1000 smells is an experience in itself. As it turns out after...

May Have to Buy a New Model S

Just got back from the test drive. Hokey smokes, though not ludicrous speed the acceleration gives the impression of significant g forces stronger than my 2013 S85. I can't imagine what the new roadster will feel like when you floor it. As far as AP2, it's interesting but I would say still a...

May Have to Buy a New Model S

You're absolutely right Hank and it definitely has its up sides. A lot of them seem to be in New England or somewhere in the eastern U.S. Does Tesla take possession of these cars, look them over, certify, and then sell them on commission or do they buy them from the previous owners first? What...

May Have to Buy a New Model S

Then why on the Tesla website design your own Tesla area does the price change $20K more from the S75D to the S100D???

May Have to Buy a New Model S

I posted this at the Tesla Forums but wanted to consult the gurus here as well. I bought a Model S 85 in early August 2013. I was rear ended on the freeway about 3 weeks ago and suffered damage to the rear and front after being pushed into the car ahead of me. I took it to a Tesla approved body...

    5 Year Ownership Experience

Not that I can post a reference link but if memory serves I read somewhere on the Tesla Forums that Model S was given that warranty before purchasing my Tesla in July '13. It was one of the reasons I pulled the purchase trigger. But I've been wrong before. ;>)

    5 Year Ownership Experience

I'd be curious to know what the battery degradation numbers are given those years. My rated miles at "full charge" was roughly 255 early on and now it's maybe 245-250. Given friends of mine that opted for a Nissan Leaf who were relatively dissatisfied with their batteries holding power after...

    5 Year Ownership Experience

Great report! I've had my S 85kwh for 4.3 years now (94,000 miles) and just love it. Had a door handle, one drive train replaced. Like you I hardly ever use my brakes. At the last yearly service they told me I had 84% left! Like you I purchased the additional warranty to extend out 8 years or...

9/8/2013 Tour de Tesla - A Southern California Police Escorted Drive!

It was a lot of fun today. The police escort made traversing all the intersections and keeping us all together a LOT easier. Got to meet some new Tesla owners and had good conversations with them. I saw the helicopter several times but no Victoria Secret models. Thanks Tesla & Al & Ed's!

9/8/2013 Tour de Tesla - A Southern California Police Escorted Drive!

I have a question which may be stupid. Does the 9:30 AM start time mean that's when the continental breakfast starts or the actual drive to the Peterson Auto Museum. If it's the actual drive, then when would we need to be there in time for the breakfast, speeches, etc.?

I'll be there representing (though most likely not the only one) the San Fernando Valley. Hope they can get 100 participants!
