I know this is a common option for people to go for with the Roadster, but just interested in how well they have been holding up.
Do they scratch easily?
Are they better than the fabric top on long distances?
Is it a pain to take on and off?
Anything else to be aware of?
Basically any...
Basically stating Abigail Johnson (and family) effectively has more than 5% holding....
Is this an additional purchase, or is it a long standing holding that has tipped into notification requirements through restructuring or as part of due diligence during audiit prep for the 10K?
Am I alone in thinking 20" wheels could be the Goldilocks size for the S? It would be nice to have an OEM Wheel that didn't require spacers and stuff.
I also prefer the base X wheel design!
Reflecting on this, I tried to look into how the Cherokee SRT-8 did compared to the Range Rover in the UK market.
Result
SRT8 = 246 sold
Range Rover: 20k+ sold
Is this a UK anomaly?
I'm attempting to drive up to the Arctic Circle next week, and thought it would be nice to pop in and say hi to Jens: A Tesla Superowner in the Arctic Circle | Tesla Motors
Unfortunately I won't be taking my Model S (Let's call this trip a reconnaissance mission) but as long as he doesn't mind...
I'll be heading to the Midlands Car Cafe again this weekend in the Tesla, but my car has been a very lonely sole example to date.
It's free to go, and they even provide breakfast!
TBH I get so many questions about the Model S I hardly get time to look at some of the other beautiful cars that...
Well what can I say, other than "it's been emotional". I'll still have the car for another 2 years minimum (out of necessity). But I'm out of love with it, and more specifically Tesla Motors.
I was always nervous investing big in the first mainstream car into the UK market. I liked the...
Just a quick one. It is really, really bad form to use the Rapids on the Ecotricity network, then leave your car for hours unattended.
It's causing a bit of a fuss/Tesla hate on other forums, and there is photo evidence of the car sat there for 141 minutes (and counting) on the AC side of the...
Hi all,
I am getting quite fed up now of the creaks and squeaks in my 7 month and 5500 mile old Model S :(
It might just be my usage, which is warm the car from cold, drive 30 minutes, leave the car sat in the cold all day, then pre heat and drive home. So I guess a fair amount of thermal...
Guys,
As title really, just wanted to know in rough miles added per hour you are seeing. (Strictly speaking mine is 30A Polar box), and I'm getting < 17mph and this seems a tad low.
Just wondered what you are getting.
Answers greatly appreciated.

Paraphrasing a familiar advert "If Carling made home chargers"
I posted a couple of pics earlier, but after some initial compatibility issues that have now been fully worked through with the guys at Etrel and Chris @ evchargingsolutions.co.uk .....
If you want THE best home/ SME office charger...
Guys, just a heads up.
I was probably the first to get v6.1 in the UK, and spotted a problem with charging at my office 22kW charger. It's a brand new unit, so I put it down to an incompatibility.
However, today I tried an Ecotricity point and it's definitely a problem with v6.1 :crying:
In...
This the second day in a row now.
I try to switch on the heating (it was -3c here) and after multiple times of trying, and minutes of waiting on each attempt, the app pops up with: "Cannot connect to your vehicle" :(
I give up and go to the car, and manually switch it on, but as soon as I get...
So far all seems to all be pretty good. Some small niggles, the main screen based speedo's don't register, and silent mode appears to be engaged permanently :(
Otherwise love the retro look and feel.
(Sorry it was a very slow day at work today)
Just to put up a little thread to say how impressed I am with the range on my S60.
I had to drive from Nottingham to Manchester, with an overnight stay in a hotel. Notionally this is about 85 miles each way. My plan was to overnight charge at a nearby car park (the hotel didn't have...
Just wondering how much of a rarity 60 kWh my car is over here in the UK.
On the other forums it seems everyone has gone for the 85 (or P85). So I thought I'd put up a poll... (UK OWNERS ONLY PLEASE)
I Have your tax disc!
Long story, but if you would like me to post it you direct, rather than it get lost or shipped to someone else randomly by Tesla UK please PM me.
Had my car just over a month now, and I am loving it :)
One thing I have noticed is the "Drivers Climate Temperature" on the steering wheel actually operates the passenger side a/c
The only other annoying thing is the lack of a charge port button in the supplied cable, I keep having...
