My right rear restraint warning is back…

IR coated doesn’t mean on the outside layer, it’s usually how they refer to the layer that has it applied. Just want to clarify I’m not talking about an outside coating. This is the layer that can have an adverse effect when light hits it a certain way

I also have wind noise, but I am not certain it’s not caused by my tiny seam. I will have the front window film removed to test the theory

I would wonder if the new windshield is lacking an IR reflective coating in it.

I’m gonna take a look at the service manual and decide if I can do any better.

haha we seem to have the same problem. The grill is a buzz, the squeak seems to be the left corner of the top part of the dash, the part that meets up with the door

After my first visit to the SC… Took all week because the lift pads were missing on my car, and they are unique to palladium. “Re-torquing suspension to specs” seems to have cured the popping noises in the suspension. It also may have firmed up the steering, I need more driving to decide...

something very similar with my X Plaid. Currently waiting for the jack points so they can raise the car and re torque. Sounds like my SC is going in the right direction at least.

I have another shop that's going to redo the front windows. They said they can extend the templates if needed, and they were surprised they cut them so short. They suspected they were possibly under a time crunch (And that is true - I was called in to pick up when the car wasn't ready)

Ah I have this same error. Have had it probably since the first week. Occasionally it does not go off. The back right seat also doesn't respond to the button to lower it.

Yeah, so they said that’s just how their plots are I have one other xpel installer in the area, gonna let them redo the front windows if they can go edge to edge. I definitely would like to compare photos (I took some better ones)

Yeah. The actual installer wasn’t there but the shop owner said that’s just how plotter tint is… 🤔

I just had mine done at a local Xpel shop (first time using Xpel and this dealer) There's a pretty noticeable gap with the front plotted film, kind of makes it look like a cheap tint job. I'm also getting some very noticeable wind noise and I suspect the gaps are playing with the seals...

Mine is still there, and at this point I can say 99% of the time the first drive will experience for the first few mins. It is noticeable once you hit 25mph or so, and persists through about 60mph. I wonder if its related to the front motor powering up. I don't think suspension heights make any...

I'll be possibly picking up a plaid X on the 11th at Glen Allen. Yes, you can bring a certified check. Or you can do it through the app the night before. Supposedly its fine to do it when you're there, but I just did it the night before to be safe (last year when I bought a MYP)

I’d take better headlights over anything else. I really admired the matrix lights on my Y even if they weren’t “intelligent” yet. Also quite a bummer to hear about the removal of radar. Will be curious when I pick up on mar 11.
