How long is it reasonable to wait for a response to a service request?

Mine's very slow going too - also Bristol SC. Just double check it's not waiting for you to 'approve the estimate'.

    Viewing Sentry Recordings and Dashcam

My sentry has been playing up the past week. Tesla USB stick at first - Works for a while after reformatting then fails again. Plugged in a Samsung SSD & exactly the same.

    [UK] 2022.12.x

A minor thing but, one that's pleased me... Prior to the V11 software, saying 'Tyre Pressures' brought up the tyre pressure card. That's no longer worked until now. Just updated to 12.3.5 & it's finally working again. :)

    Static shock

I used to get this with my old BMW. Wiping laundry dryer sheets (ideally non-scented, unless you like that kind of thing) over the seats seemed to cure it for a while.

How dangerous to leave house with only phone key?

If your car ever goes into a Tesla service centre, can you imagine having to give them a key card that's been in your shoe for months on end? 🤣

    [UK]2022.4

That's not what I said. I was merely saying there are lots of people with the older version 30.7 that are awaiting a big update too.

    [UK]2022.4

No, it's not. Take a look at the Teslafi link someone posted earlier. There are also plenty of people stuck on 30.7 too!

Wheel Rim Protectors Matching Colour to the Alloys

Not an issue with any of the Tesla rims (i don't think) but, never put Alloygators or similar on diamond cut alloys. Dirt & damp over time can remove the lacquer & totally ruin them.

    Nightmare! Devon Holiday Scratch...!

It’s a lease vehicle so nothing to ‘fess up’ about. You’ll just need to get it sorted before it goes back or they’ll charge you for it. Take a look at the BVRLA fair wear and tear guidelines. You can view the PDF file here. BVRLA

    2019 Stealth to 2021 LR?

Can't help with pricing but, I do know it's best to be totally upfront when appraising your vehicle on the WBAC website. Be sure to note even the smallest chip, dent, scuff etc. The accessors tend to look more favourably on you as it makes their life easier & there's also less chance of the...

UK Model 3 Performance 2021 Waiting Room

I think the 20" Turbines look great on all colours. The 18" Aero's look great on white & red cars. The 19" sport wheels I'm not a fan of on any colour car. It's the silver finish that to me doesn't look suited to the overall styling.

    2021 Shipping Movements

Yep, via Lex. There seems to be a Vessel due in the middle of this month, one at the start of June (Tesla said around the 1st June) & i guess one the middle of June (probably with the M3P's on it). I may be wrong though!
  27. F

    2021 Shipping Movements

I ordered back on the 8th Marth (M3 LR) & requested a June delivery. I was also told i'd get matched from the 2nd June.

They reduced the leasing rates right down in feb/early March, to try and shift new quarter stock of the LR.
  30. F

Wiki UK 2021 Orders and Pending Deliveries

I think they are just saying that to get cars shifted quicker. I'm pretty sure there's going to be a couple of deliveries in May & June for the LR

Model 3 Performance taken a battering

Looks like part of it still works though! It must have been a pretty heavy shunt but, just goes to show how strong & (relatively) safe these things are.
  32. F

Wiki UK 2021 Orders and Pending Deliveries

M3P was the exception to the rule. Who knows what's gone on there. If the website says delays of 5 months after the current batch then naturally you'd order sooner although that shouldn't be the case anymore now they are coming from China. Tesla prefer you to order for the current or next quarter.

Wiki UK 2021 Orders and Pending Deliveries

I was told (by a Tesla rep) that Tesla don't like orders for more than 3 months in advance. If you need delivery for March, i'd have suggested ordering in December.

    Model 3 Leasing UK

Prices went up by an average of £100 a month back when the government removed the grant. They have now reduced by around £50 a month so it’s a start but, only halfway there.

Higher value EVs not eligible for £3,000 PiCG (grant) anymore!

It's a shame. For most of yesterday they kept the prices the same (swallowing the grant themselves) but now gone back up. Who knows what will happen next week. I'd imagine there'll be a few lost orders as a result.

Higher value EVs not eligible for £3,000 PiCG (grant) anymore!

The PIG has always been listed clearly (separately) on the order breakdown/invoice page. Now it's removed. That generic pop-up (not relaxing to the specific order) clearly hasn't changed yet.
  45. F

Higher value EVs not eligible for £3,000 PiCG (grant) anymore!

Not on mine. No mention of PIG at all
  46. F

Higher value EVs not eligible for £3,000 PiCG (grant) anymore!

The customer will still pay a final invoice price of £46,990, even thought the grant has now been removed. Meaning Tesla has dropped their list price to reflect the change.
  47. F

Higher value EVs not eligible for £3,000 PiCG (grant) anymore!

If it's through ALD, the special prices were for deliveries before the end of March only. After that, prices would go back up again.

  49. F

Higher value EVs not eligible for £3,000 PiCG (grant) anymore!

All i know is currently the LR is showing as a list of 46k (or thereabouts). Previously, it was showing as a list of £49k & the £3k grant then taking it down to £46k.Mention of the grant has gone from the order stage to prices have been updated.
  50. F

Wiki UK 2021 Orders and Pending Deliveries

Check again. There's no longer any mention of the PIG grant when you go through to the order stage.
