RCM_a021 front left safety restraint system fault

Hey thanks for putting in the work! Since you identified the problem, why not ask Tesla if you can just purchase the connector and replace it yourself. You could do a penthouse shutdown the use solder heat shrink to do the job.

RCM_a021 front left safety restraint system fault

I have the same exact make and model. I also got this error the other day but it went away after readjusting the seat. I notice my error pops up when i adjust the seat to the extremities. Its been two days now without an error but Im not betting my life that this wont pop up again... just going...

    MPP Comfort Coilover reviews?

I have sways from Eibach. Bought them 2 years ago before MPP or UP came out with theirs otherwise I would’ve went with theirs. I have them set to hard in the front and soft in the back. Ride comfort-wise, you shouldn’t feel a significant change. Most noticeable is on spirited driving on. No...

OEM Speaker Wiring for Front Door Woofers

I have a 2019 TM3 with the premium sound system. I was hoping to get some help on installing an aftermarket amplifier for my front door woofers. Here’s what I got: DSP feeding into a 2 channel 100W RMS aftermarket amplifier powering the front door woofers - stock speakers replaced with Focal...

Another subwoofer option - NVX Audio

Yeah I didn’t use the remote bass knob. Wanted everything to be seamless with no additional wiring. Yes turning the bass knob all the way up would solve your issue of maximizing the output from your LOC. I’ve since upgraded my set up to include a JBL DSP4086 so i’ve ditched my active LOC -...

[2022] Damaged sway bar bushing & sheared bolt

Sorry for those late chime on this. I had this exact thing happen to me. I over torqued the bolt which caused it to shear off just like OP. Went over to EVfixme in Costa Mesa, CA to get it fixed. They were able to drill a hole through and put an aluminum backing plate paired with a m16-m17...

Anyone do the dashboard speaker upgrade for all 3 speakers in the front? Do you have an extra Infinity REF-4032CFX or REF-4022CFX laying around that I can purchase? Let me know! Located in Orange County if local is better. Thanks!

Anybody have experience with Paragon Brakes?

@MountainPass didnt mean to strike an old chord as I know this Paragon copy cat situation has been already addressed in another thread. Still a huge fan of everything MPP does for the Model 3 platform and community. With that being said, I disagree with your notion that all Paragon buyers not...

Eibach springs + swaybars to MPP Comforts + Swaybars

As always, you know I'm a huge proponent to all the great work you guys do for the Model 3 platform. I was totally unaware that these were knock-offs of BBK kit. I did wonder why the brackets look almost identical to the ones you guys produce so thanks for pointing that out. Aside from the...

Eibach springs + swaybars to MPP Comforts + Swaybars

Yeah, unfortunately they have less options for the M3P. I have 19x9.5 Signature SV104 so plenty of brake caliper clearance. No unsettling noises so far, despite half-assing the bed-in procedure. Paragon rep recommended that I drive another 1K miles to break the pads and rotors before putting it...

Another subwoofer option - NVX Audio

I recommend getting the Blue Positaps. You only need one pack which comes with 6pcs. Another side note is to make sure your wiring is all done with 100% OFC cabling - dont cheap out and get the Walmart/Amazon alloy wires.

Eibach springs + swaybars to MPP Comforts + Swaybars

You'll learn quickly that the Model 3's achilles heal are the brakes. Stock pedal feels like mush and I have absolutely no confidence slowing the car down at high speeds. Keep in mind, I have an LR AWD so my stock brakes are not as great as your stock M3P calipers/rotors but still, upgrading...

Eibach springs + swaybars to MPP Comforts + Swaybars

You won't regret it. Based on your signature and the list of mods you've got, looks like your car's almost identical to mine. Sways, coils, LW Wheels, RUCA, LCA bushings... the only thing left are your brakes/rotors and youll be ready to shred the track! BOL on your build.

Eibach springs + swaybars to MPP Comforts + Swaybars

I've gotten a few parts from RPM Tesla in the past but didnt have a good experience with the company. The parts I got from them had a lot of defects and some of the fitment was horrible - they did offer me an exchange but made me drive over to their office in Rancho Cucamonga (50miles from my...

Eibach springs + swaybars to MPP Comforts + Swaybars

The tldr answer is: My insurance company (Tesla) treats it as any other insurance claim. I think your question more pertains to warranty claims. For a warranty claim, the lowered suspension will almost definitely cause them to deny you. Side note: if you have comprehensive and are in a similar...

Eibach springs + swaybars to MPP Comforts + Swaybars

Found this post a little late but I wanted to give my 2cents since OP's situation is very similar to mine. I went from Eibach moderates to the MPP Comforts (Eibach sways left in at both stages). You just cant compare the ride quality of both. Side note: I also have F/R Whiteline Endlinks, MPP...

    Suspension Questions (Coils/Springs/Bags)

those were done by EvilHeadlights in SoCal. Hes located near riverside now. the hardware is from Diode Dynamics utilizing RGBW. Turn them on and off using the parking light toggle on the screen. Red's nice but i have them on amber by default for legality reasons.

    Suspension Questions (Coils/Springs/Bags)

I’ve got a rear diffuser that scrapes more than my front. I’ve made at least 5 adjustments before finally settling on the 368mm fender to center cap. Tires are 255/40/19 for anyone that’s curious.

Another subwoofer option - NVX Audio

The RD500/1 is great and a huge upgrade to the VMD1 amp. On paper, there's only 180W delta (2ohm) between the two but the sound is way cleaner at loud volumes (I initially bought the kit from NVX then opted to replace the amp with the RD500/1). My main goal was to maximize the bass but not...

    Suspension Questions (Coils/Springs/Bags)

Not saying that the springs had any direct correlation to the damage... just expressing the fact that even with the "moderates" from Eibach, my car was sitting way too low for everyday LA driving. With the coilovers, I was able to really fine-tune the ride height and compression/rebound settings...

    Suspension Questions (Coils/Springs/Bags)

I went with the springs route at first, and instantly regretted not going coils from the getgo. Ride quality diminished greatly, no ride height adjustability, worn struts + bump stops, and worse of all, my battery coolant lines were severed costing me and my insurance $32K to repair (don't ask...

Another subwoofer option - NVX Audio

I second this... the XLCA will only turn off when your OEM amp turns off (signal to the remote plug). I've tested this by placing a GoPro in my car and left it on record to get an exact time to when the entire system shuts off/goes to sleep - usually around the 20-30 min mark. There are some 3rd...

    Lowering Springs for 2021 M3P

keep in mind, Eibachs made some changed to their moderate springs. used to be 1.1inch all around.. they've changed it to 1.1 in the front and 1.4 in the back now.. for some, that means RAKE.

Anybody have experience with Paragon Brakes?

I'm in the market to upgrade the rotors on my TM3 AWD LR. Through my research on these forums, there seems to be only 4 main options discussed on these forums: MPP, RB, AP, and UP. Paragon Brakes is the only company not discussed here so I wanted to poke around and see if anyone has had...

Another subwoofer option - NVX Audio

If you want to include your factory sub rather than disconnecting it, I recommend wiring your NVX sub out of phase with the OEM sub. This means swapping the (+) lead with the (-) lead. Since both subs are on opposite sides of each other, putting them out of phase will help match the signal...

Another subwoofer option - NVX Audio

Apparently not lol. BTW, If any of y'all are in SoCal, DM me if you need help on your installation, happy to help and meet fellow Tesla owners. Installation should be easy - if you're scared of cutting into OEM wiring, I highly suggest using Posi-Taps. They are expensive but well worth the...

    Ingenxt boost 50 ghost

I opted for the Ingenext boost 50 over Ghost and here's why: - My TM3 still under warranty for 3 years - Service center visits with peace of mind (remove plug-in module under passenger side) - Ghost Module is invasive to the car - Ability to upgrade to Ghost when I want to w/o paying much extra...

I actually have an Ohmmu battery on stand-by just in case. I've been running this set up for 4-5 months now with no issues ever since I did a penthouse reset. Quietest, Tire? Bridgestone Turanza, Goodyear efficient Grip or Michelin Pilot sport EV?, Continental ecocontact?

I only took at 10% hit, (310wh/mi to 340wh/mi). Tires are more sticky and wider (255 vs 235) for increased handling and performance. imo the pros outweigh the small efficiency hit. i hear reports that the Michelin AS3/4+ take out 15-20% of your efficiency hence why I went with DWS06+. Good luck...

Quietest, Tire? Bridgestone Turanza, Goodyear efficient Grip or Michelin Pilot sport EV?, Continental ecocontact?

I've I've got the DWS06+ and love the ride on them. Big upgrade from stock Conti ProContact RX.

    Efficient tires?

I've had the Conti ProContact RX (OEM), Michelin AS4's, and the Conti DWS06+. I definitely will have to say the DWS06+ are the perfect middle ground of performance and efficiency. While i did like the Michelin AS4's, i took a huge efficiency hit especially going from DWS06+ to AS4 (more of an...

Model 3 Tires, Tire Sizes, Types, make / model recommendations, tire discussions, etc

I’m on 255/40 and loving the meaty set up. No rubbing what so ever. 255’s IMO fit flush with a 9.5 wheel. 245-255 on 9’’ would still be fine. I’ve seen countless of people running 255/35’s too with no issues. Main reason why I went 255 was cuz I didn’t want to take a huge range hit going 265...

Model 3 Tires, Tire Sizes, Types, make / model recommendations, tire discussions, etc

It's simple. Do you value performance better or range/efficiency? the 255's I'm on has improved my handling drastically, i could only imagine how 265's are. After 500 more extra miles of driving, my efficiency numbers are more leveled now. I'm getting closer to 360wh/mi now so the range loss was...
